"First the girls...." The woman said. She swished her hand in the bowl and pulled out a name. "Nina Williams" she called.

Nina stared up at her. NO! Her mind screamed as she was ushered onto the stage like platform.

"Then the boys" the fear ran through nicks body

"Nick Ballard"

Nina watched as he was surrounded by guards in thick padded uniforms. She closed her eyes, trying to shut out the looks on her family's faces.

"No..." Nick whispered to himself. He want proud at all to represent the district in the hungergames. Fury and rage welled up inside of him, as he wrestled the guard that was onto his arm, but he was escorted to a room behind them.

Nina was pulled into a strange room. She looked around. She shook her head, sliding down the wall and putting her head in her hands. "This can't be happening!"

"You're telling me" nick said, trying to hold back his tears, he thought about his friends. He glanced at nina.

"Whatever. I'm gonna die anyway." She huffed.

"I'll die too." He said. He reached to grab her hand, but then thought better of it, and returned it to his side.

Nina sighed. "I most likely will, if my skill isn't enough." She thought of her skill with climbing.

"The training arena will help, I guess" he thought about the skills he was good at. The only thing, was that he was strong.

Nina sighed. "I don't see why they do this." She shook her head. "Dumb question."

Nina sighed. Suddenly, the room started shaking slightly and it stopped. "Are we moving?" She asked, hearing a...whistle? "A train..." She muttered.

((I was hoping I could join when they got there as a person from another distrect.

After hours, they finally arrived and Nina was pulled from the train.

Jazzy looked up at the new arivals.

Nina steadied herself. "Hello." She told the girl.

Jazzy looked away and mumbled "hi."

Nina smiled, "I'm Nina, the girl who is going to die."

Jazzy nodded and glanced over for a second.

Nina sighed. "It's okay, I'm gonna die anyway, you won't have to kill me." She shrugged.

Jazzy smiled a little and turned around. "Ok." She said quietly.

Nina smiled as the big haired woman handed her something to eat. "Our sincerest apologies for the lack of food on the ride over." She smiled.

Nina took it and ate.

Jazzy looked at Nina. She didn't want people to know anything about her, but she wanted to know everything about everyone else.

Nick walked up yo the two girls. "Umm, hi" he said, to the unfamiliar one, then pulled nina aside.

Jazzy looked on nervously. She strained her ears to hear.

Nina looked at him. "What?"

Nina edged closer.

((Sorry! I was going to call my character Nita, but you were Nina, so i forgot. I meant Jazzy.

Nick looked at Nina. "I wouldn't be making friends this wary in the games" He whispered. "Be friendly, but be careful" He said

((Do you want there to be a lovers thingy to go on between Nick and nina n the games morgan?))

((Sure.))

Nina smiled. "Gonna die anyway. And I can handle myself." She turned to Jazzy. "Sorry."

Nick grunted. Women

Nina tsked. A man clad in black entered the room. "Welcome. It is time to get ready for the introduction ceremony." A blonde woman pulled Nina into a room, handing her something red. "Prepare."

Nick got pulled into a room too, given something too. He got ready. "Are you done?" He called through the walls

Nina called back. "Yes...." She tilted her head at the mirror. She was dressed in a red dress. The woman, Urela, had curled her hair. "Over kill." She muttered, walking out of the room.

Nick walked out of the room, dressed in a black and red suit. He burst out laughing when he saw her hair. "Well.." He said, when he got his breath back. "At least the dress looks pretty on you"

Nina glared. "Thanks." Sarcasim coated her words.

"Sorry" he said after that. "But, you do look pretty..." He started blushing

Nina blushed. "Okay..." She looked away. The man appeared. "Come." Leading them down a hall.

Nick followed the man to a room, where other people were waiting. "What do we do now?" He whispered to nina

Nina pointed to a chariot. "Um...."

"Come on!" He said, hopping in, seeing that everyone else was. He let out his hand to help nina on. He smiled, hoping she would take it.

Nina took his hand, pulling herself up. It was odd, like a wagon almost. "Cool." She said, noticing everything about, well, everything!

"Representing district 1, clover and Harry!" A voice boomed over the speakers

"Don't be worried" nick said. "Just be confident"

Nina smiled as the voice boomed again, "Representing District 2, Sara and Turus!" Nina held her breath. They were district 3.

"Confidence, nina, you have had it in you, all along" nick said, finding her hand in the chariot.

"Representing district 3, Nina and Nick!"
