I loved how the Dad was so invested and really curious to know about what Rain wanted to do and who she wanted to be. It shows how he actually is an incredible Dad, given the chance.

I do not know why Liam didn't get angrier or at least a little more hurt when Rain said he was alone TWICE. She only registers she says it once and he doesn't do much more than bat an eyelid.

And then the whole sickness thing! Wow this book just got intense. So firstly, how can the Dad think she's fine?... (SIDE NOTE: It was funny because Rain rings Ethan asking her for more pillows and I read it as Liam for some reason and laughed so hard, inappropriately, when Ethan says I'm getting Dad. I was like why is Liam calling Rain's Dad Dad haha.)
Then when they're at the hospital Ethan blames himself! Like wow! He has the biggest heart and is so incredible!

She WAS pregnant!

I loved the hospital scene between Ethan and Rain. It was nice for Rain to finally admit to herself what she wanted.

I also loved how, even in the scariest of situations, Ethan is still Ethan. He is autistic (credit to the author, once again) and that’s okay. And that for me was AMAZING! I’m referencing to in particular Ethan asking Liam for kissing advice in the hospital. They both melt my heart.

I really like Rain being in a hospital bed with a heart monitor when her heart breaks. Very clever! Her heart breaks and stops beating but in medical terms it hasn’t so the monitor is broken. Genious! But oh my gosh why has she broke up with Liam?! And why is he not putting up more of a fight?! She was carrying his child for goodness sake! I hate it when things like this happen. Like the characters are thinking of the future and how it will never work. Like they should know that they will never know until they try and there is no harm in trying and WHY are they not together?!

I love Hope! For me her character has come so far! Like it has for like three others. But she is so right when she says “Why not be happy?” Liam made her happy and she is just being so stupid!

So much happened at the end and I loved it all! Rain’s character development is finally happening and incredibly. I love Hope. Rain is apologising for her mistakes and admitting all of the wrongs she thought and did. She is confessing!

I am so happy we discover the Secret Rule! It is so beautiful and I love that Ethan now shares it with Hope.

Rain FINALLY stands up to that awful Mother of hers.

I am glad we get to see Kathy and Marcus again. However I would have liked more clarity and maybe a scene where Kathy tells Hope and or Rain everything that happened. I would’ve liked to have known more about that situation, but at least we know that they do in the end try to work through things.

It really irritated me that Rain cries over Liam. Like for goodness sake girl! You was the one that ended things and if you want him back, go and get him! I do understand why she ended it, don’t get me wrong but it is such a stupid reason that she either needs to change or get over. And it was after he told her HE LOVED HER and after her Dad PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE!

And finally, best of all was when Hope and Ethan kissed. A thousand butterflies took flight in my stomach and I had to put the book down. I had the BIGGEST grin on my face. They are so cute together and Hope understands him and we can see that in the countdown and awh it was better than it could ever have been. I felt like I experienced that kiss with them! So beautiful.
And I loved the dramatic exit from Rain (or the way Rain’s simple exit was written). It shows how much she has grown and developed and learned.

Aha, remind me not to get on the bad side of you Maria! I agree what she says is harsh and so low. In this sense Rain's character for me was a little all ver the place. She was nice but then she'd say something like she doesn't want to be alone like Liam and that is just so out of character for someone who seems so nice in other chapters.

I love Ethan too!

Yes the break up just did not make sense! Ugh! Although the crying was sad, I don't sympathise with her at all. She chose to be in that position. Liam was there for her but she didn't want him.

That kiss put the biggest smile on my face!
