Name: Marilla ‘Rila’ Xiao
Age: 16
Residence: A tavern room (with her grandfather)
Position: Star Children: Apprentice under 2nd-in-command
Level: Helious (wolverine, fox)
Ability: Umbrakinesis (shadow manipulation)
Appearance: Her faceclaim is Arden Cho. Rila is Asian (of course I mean her ethnicity, not where she's from). She has long, black, wavy hair, brown eyes and pale skin. She always wears a black leather jacket, black clothes in general and combat boots.
Personality: Rila was always a bit badass, and this part of her took over her other features when she lost most of her family. She likes to be sarcastic and full of sass. However, she likes to joke, and whatever she says, may not be serious, no matter the situation. People usually like her, although some consider her annoying.
History: The Xiaos were quite a rich family- not noble, although Marilla’s grandfather, Silas, was born in nobility (and lost his status after he married a common woman). They weren’t very happy with the royals, but didn’t complain. Rila was the younger of two siblings. Her older brother, Joshua, was their parents’ favorite, although Silas preferred Marilla, especially after discovering she was the only one to inherit his shapeshifting abilities. He taught her how to make use of these and years later she was able to transform into a wolverine, and sometimes a fox, too.
One day, the family received terrible news. The nobles discovered that Marcus, Rila’s father, was part of a group plotting against the royal family. They sent soldiers to the Xiaos’ house. However, the soldiers were crueler than the nobility expected, and also killed Marcus’ wife and son. Marilla and Silas were the only members to survive simply because they used their powers to escape. They had to move to the city, where Rila, now filled with hatred towards the royals, followed her father’s footsteps and joined the Star Children.
Family: Annabell Xiao, Marcus Xiao- parents (deceased), Joshua Xiao- brother (deceased), Silas Xiao- grandfather (alive)
Relationship Status: single, not interested
Likes: Fresh water, sass, her grandfather (her soft spot!), joking, black, leather

Appearance: Her faceclaim is Kacey Rohl. Val has long brown hair, pale skin and blue eyes. Like any other maid, she wears her hair in a bun.
Personality: Valeria is a warm, caring person. She takes her job very seriously and wants the inhabitants of the Goldleafe Manor to be as pleased with her service as possible. She loves her family very much.
History: Val was born in a servant family. Both her father and mother worked in the Goldleafe Manor kitchens. Val was the middle of three siblings. She managed to achieve the most- she became a maid, which was a blessing for the poor family. Her pay was now high enough to afford basic things for her parents, brother and sister. She can’t afford to lose her job and disappoint them.
Family: William and Carolina Greer (parents), Shaina Greer (older sister), Michael Greer (younger brother)
Relationship Status: Single, looking
Likes: Helping others, her family, her job, tea
Dislikes: Disappointing others
