Book Nerd Reading Challenge discussion

Graphic novels are so much more than comics and superheroes. Graphic novels are books told through pictures, ultimately in comic form, but don't be deceived. These are fully developed novels with stunning artwork and sometimes deep themes like the holocaust. Sometimes popular novels are even turned into graphic novels in order to give the story a more visual feel. What graphic novels would you recommend?

I’ve liked Maus or Persepolis. Neither is an easy read, but well worth it. Herding Cats is a fun read — a lot more light hearted. Hope this helps!
