It is a heavy read and will require multiple sessions. There are certain things in the book that are most definitely hard to understand, but I continued to read because I found the information to be fascinating. One of my favorite subtopics to read about was the hypnosis section, the first topic introduced in chapter one. Wilcock investigates how powerful hypnosis can actually be and he also provides stories and research. One of which includes a man who was hypnotized and was given the suggestion that he couldn’t see his own daughter. The hypnotist then held up a watch to the daughter’s back and asked the man to tell him the time. The man could clearly see the time even though his daughter was right in between him and the watch.
I honestly enjoyed reading this book because it was backed up with evidence. I encourage everyone to read this book, however it is very science based and is directed more towards readers who love scientific phenomenons and inconsistencies in the world. I highly recommend this book, but I encourage you to have an open mind when reading it. If you go in automatically wanting to shut down all of the research, you won’t get anything out of reading it. I also encourage everyone to watch the online documentary The 2012 Enigma.
