Reading Suggestions for 2018

Hello, Asma! I'm glad you like it. Don't worry, the book series will be read throughout the year. One book per month. I can't read them all in one month, as well.
I'm super glad to hear that as well. I, too, will challenge myself and write a review for every book that I read on Goodreads.
So you're voting for the Yearly Challenge - book series, right? I know you've already read Arsène Lupin. Are you interested in a certain book series?

Great! Well... I don't know a lot of book series. I was going to wait for the members to suggest.
But I'm interested in both The Scarlet Pimpernel and Arsène Lupin
I've already read Sherlock Holmes and Anne of Green Gables (not all of it) but I don't mind re-reading them for the yearly challenge. :D

WOW! I've just finished reading Miss Marple's series for another group. And I would LOVE to do it again with you. The thing is I didn't get the chance to read it in order.
So, if you would like to do this challenge, I found 13 books online on OpenLibrary. They are 14 but I didn't find Miss Marple's Final Cases Luckily, I had that book in Arabic.
I can share the book list with you, the one I have on OpenLibrary. Are you familiar with the website? It's like a library but electronic. They give you the book for two weeks to read. And one person can borrow the book per time. The good thing about Miss Marple's book is that they are short.
I need the final answer from you, to start that challenge. I'm so excited

Yes, I did. The challenge is for this year.
It sure is. Because I've all the books and can read them in order.
Great! Here's the link: https://openlibrary.org/ Tell me once you have an account there, so I can send you the list.
I'm sure it'll be. Would you like to do Lord Peter's books in the future? I can get the list ready also on OpenLibrary. ;)
Oh, I would let you have the books first. :D

Okay, I'll send you the list to your Goodreads inbox.
We read Whose Body? together, last year. That's the first book of Lord Peter's series. And I would love to read them with you.
Okay, Cool! :D

Hello, Azuma-chan. I'm sorry but we can't do Miss Marple's challenge here. The books aren't in the Public Domain. We can't do Lord Peter's series. Would you like to do Sherlock Holmes? Of course, We can read Miss Marple but we can't discuss it here. I hope you'll understand. Besides, it was my fault for not noticing the date of publication. I hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you for understanding. Yeah, we have to read books in the Public Domain only. Good Luck with the new books. Yes, they are 9 books. It can be a mini-challenge. Would you like to do it?

2018 is just around the corner. And Lanelle and I wanted to change things up here to make it more fun and enjoyable. We came up with some ideas. We hope you would like it. Feel free to share your thoughts with us.
Ready? Let's go!
1. Doing a yearly challenge.
We can pick book series in the Public Domain. Meaning books like Sherlock Holmes, Arsène Lupin, Anne of Green Gables, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and so on.
So, it will look something like this.
January - Anne of Green Gables.
February - Anne of Avonlea.
Or we can re-do one of these Reading Challenges
2. Doing our regular monthly challenge.
But with a twist. We'll add points. 10 points per book, 5 points for reading the book and the other 5 for writing a review of the book in the group. Don't forget to tell us the books you read in the group. I'll need that to track your points. 😉
The one who gets the highest points each month will pick the next month reading whether it's a Genre, Author or Theme.
Please let us know, which one do you want the yearly, monthly challenge or both. And what book series do you want to read? Thanks! 😊
