Both of those sound good, though I'd have to find Coyle at the library or something. I'm not going to nominate, but I'll read what gets picked if I have it on my shelves already
I didn't know much about Higgins, and then I happened to catch the flick Killing Them Softly with Brad Pitt and Richard Jenkins, which wasn't great, but had kind of a quirky griminess to it that most films avoid. In the process of looking for some information on it, I found out that Higgins had written it, and I'd already been curious about Eddie Coyle. I've got a couple of his novels on my shelf, but I haven't gotten around to them yet.
