My novel The Lucid Series: Android Uprising is in a Christian cyberpunk setting, in the nation of Homeland. In my mind, cyberpunk is far better than steampunk for writing about serious issues that people can relate to today.

But I do have other countries in the same universe. There may be room for a steampunk influenced nation to add additional flavor to the series. Steampunkishness would seem to be a possible fit with the Independent States of America. A post apocalyptic country that developed along side of Homeland, yet in a different way.

I am curious if anyone here knows of the existence a Christian steampunk novel. Is this idea something that piques interest or causes a gag reflex?

Thanks, David. I see the first one is free right now. I'll check it out.

Stan | 22 comments Not overtly Christian, but more allegorical is The Wind Merchant and sequel. The third book is in the works. The book is pretty much squeaky clean too.
