Inspired by Leslie's cats and dogs idea I am going to use Essex place names for categories . Number of books determined by number of letters in the place name. Any alphabetical synchronism is pleasing but not vital. This is getting complicated so I am going to allow books from the "read the name " section to also appear here. There must have been people from your area among the early settlers here in Massachusetts as we have several of those place names too! Waltham, Braintree, Chelmsford are all familiar local names to me :)Good luck with your reading in 2018!

Having exceeded my reading challenge for 2017 I am hoping to continue to reduce the mountain of unread books in my house and refrain from buying / acquiring too many new ones!
