The cove was the only hideout that Andy could gather her thoughts. She had stolen a helmet from a keeper while they were flirting with a condemned scandalous . Andy juggled the helmet between arms and groaned as the pain thrummed in her legs. She would be there soon, she would just have to keep running until she reached the cove.
(okay guys, you're on your own now, I have to go but I'll join in about....7 hours ish...sorry)

Eve walked around the cove. She came here fairly often; it hid her from both the Keepers and her family in the Pound. But that wasn't entirely the reason for her being here. Eve just liked to explore and wanted to run into someone, preferably someone with ties to the rebels. If she ran into a Keeper, it didn't really matter in the end. They'd just throw her back into the Pound and her father's con men would pick her up and bring her home.
Lyric felt like eating something other than game. She had a craving for salted fish right now and thats what she was gonna catch. Though she always was bad at fishing so she was by the water fishing at around 4 am planning to take on this unexciting task all day. So far Lyric caught nothing... and was passing around her poll very annoyed. Maybe game isn't so bad she thought....
Eve sighed and walked along the horseshoe shape of the cove, her sandals off and occasionally letting them dip into the water. It was hard to see at the time of early morning so she didn't see nor hear the person fishing not too far off. The air was a little humid and Eve prayed it wouldn't rain. It'd be obvious then when she got home that'd she'd been out and she didn't want to be punished for it. She began to hum a tune, an old one her mother had taught her.
While pacing around the edge she spotted a girl around a bend in the water. Her first instinct was to shirk away from possible danger but thought to do the opposite for once...she waved
Eve finally looked up, having that weird sixth sense feeling people get when they can tell someone's eyes are on them. She saw the person and halted to a stop. "Who are you?" she asked wearily.
Lyric realized she scared the girl and put her hands up in a defensive apologetic gesture. "The names Lyrica," she said shakily. She didn't talk much to strangers or really anyone. Even when she went to the market for errands she would mostly point and nod.
Eve didn't care much for names, they didn't define whether one was a Keeper, Condemned, Rebel, or Citizen. But she'd keep that information in the back of her mind for later. "Are you a Keeper?" she asked, knowing it was a risk, but she needed to know.
"No no no.. I'm not a keeper," she said. "What about you?" Lyrica's curiosity was ebbing with this new person. Though she had one of her hidden knives at the ready if she was dangerous
Eve shook her head and hoped the stranger named Lyric could see. "I'm Condemned," she said it slowly, like it was a poison. "My name's Eve Crowe," which she also said like it was poison on her tongue. She waited a moment before asking warily, "Are you Condemned?"((Really sorry, my mom's forcing me to play Bananagrams with my brother...idk what that game even is... *sigh* ))
Pain flooded her mind thinking of how the Condemned lived and how well she had once had it. "No," looking down in her own shame, "I guess you could say I'm a Rebel." Lyric didn't really know what she was, she did technically rebel and left, but had decided to stick alone with the only family she had close to her. She didn't want her little dove to get hurt.((Totally fine, I'm also side tracking making another character and some sketching))
"You're a rebel?" she perked up, asking with more enthusiasm. This was perfect. She needed a rebel to show her how to get to the rebel group, to show her how things are done. "Can you take me back with you?"
She thought to herself for a moment. She supposed she could take her to the head quarters, she just wasn't very familiar with the group. Lyric thought of just pretending she knew what she was doing, but how could she. Lyric felt something click in a plan. "I can take you to them for sure! But..." she was anxious about letting this Condemned girl down, but she for sure wasn't going to lie to her.
"Really?!" she said, feeling hope flood through her. She even smiled, ever so slightly. But then Eve replayed what she just said in her mind. There was a but. "But what?" she asked slowly, feeling her hope die down some. It might be nothing but but was never exactly something hopeful.
"Well, I'm kinda a loner. I'm not very familiar with the Rebels." Lyric was frustrated with herself. She wondered if she couldn't give this girl the help she needed. There was also this nagging in the back of her mind to go to the Rebellion not only for Eve, but for herself. "I wouldn't be able to show you around very well, but I can find someone who can."
"Oh, no, that's fine. That's entirely fine. Thank you so much," Eve said, almost not able to speak. The excitement and relief seemed to be all throughout her, even seeming to be in her throat. But she could almost seem to feel the tattoo on her wrist. It felt like there was almost a chain tying her to the Pound, to her family. Eve felt as though she was marked as her father's property. But she was going to break the chain now and go run off.
Lyrica's fishing poll stuck in the rocks started to get tugged...she was oblivious though while deep in thought. She finally suggested,"The trip is a couple days from here through the forest and 'round it is an additional one. My house is in the forest and we can stop there on our way." As she talked she stared at the trees in concentration thinking of what to do of some affairs. "How does that sound?"
"I'll go along with whatever. Just as long as I can get there," Eve said, then noticed Lyric's pole. She pointed to it a little timidly, noticing her in thought. She didn't want to disrupt her if she had a lot going on in her mind.
She blinked and shook her head as she noticed the gesture. Lyrica spun around as the poll jerked and she grabbed it just in time. And pulled as the fish yanked on the poll and flew out towards the bank. "Woop! Dinner!" Lyrica flash a big smile as she looked at the size of the fish flopping around. "This'll fead us for sure," another thought went through her mind, "what time is it?"
Eve smiled slightly. Then she looked to the sky. There wasn't much light and the sun had definitely not risen. "5 am maybe? It's hard without the sun." Eve was definitely sure it was early morning but was not sure about the exact time. It was only a guess.
((I'm going to bed. I live in Mountain Time Zone so its almost 12 fyi. See ya! I'll chat on the RP Request thread when I'm back on tomorrow))
((okay guys I'm back BUT if we're going to do this, we have to do it when everyone's on so it makes sense...Sarah, Reagan, what time do you usually come on and where do you live? I'll work out time zones))
((I live in utah so its 6:30 am right now. Im usually on in the mornings but today I have a rehearsal till noon. While at work though afterwards I can. I hope this works out))

((Earliest for me is 6 am my time and latest 12 am or 11 pm. Sooo difficult... -.- we will find a way! Btw I might recruit someone, she is in my time so there won't be a fourth time zone thankfully.))
Lyric thought to herself again. "Do you mind if I fish a while longer before we leave? I want to catch maybe one more. " she wanted they had enough for most of the trip. ((If we leave the Cove soon what about Fox??))
"No, not at all," she said then soundlessly sat down on the shore, just close enough that her feet would get wet by the waves. She just listened to the birds and breeze, feeling relieved and relaxed. Things would be getting better really soon.
((Ya alright...))After another good sized fish was caught, Lyrica decided to to start on their journey back to her home with Eve. But she had a question that had been nagging at her, "Other than the obvious, why do you want to leave?"
((Omg, I'm so sorry I missed your comment! I would've posted way sooner but I just missed it))Eve mulled the question over for a long moment. "Well...there's some power hungry people in the world. And my father is one of them. He kind of rules our section of the Pound. He has people who work for him and stuff. I have privileges because of that but...he's very possessive and commanding. Commanding isn't quite the word I was looking for but that's the gist, I suppose." She held out her wrist to expose her tattoo. "He even marks his possessions."
((Totally fine. I'm gonna go to bed. Want to continue some in the morning?))Lyric stared at the tattoo in shock. She didn't really know what to think of it, how could her father be that possessive? Then again she thought of her own parents...and didn't really need further explaining as she understood the gist of her situation. "Wow, why would he do that?" She couldn't help herself but stare at the mark on her wrist. "That is a hard burden to carry around...everyone must know who you are."
"Exactly," Eve nodded. "We all have the same features too." She couldn't escape easily. She couldn't even walk around town without being stared at. Her one hand tightly gripped the other. "But it won't matter anymore anyways."((Yeah, definitely :) ))
((guys? I think it would be easier if I stepped out of this rp coz Im not on when you guys are so just continue and I'll boop out ^^ peace))
