Alexandra walked around the edge of the wall, her hands stuffed in the pockets of her leather jacket. Inside of her jacket, she hand a hunting knife, just in case. In the dim street lights, her hair shone a firy red
Calise looked around making sure her sister wasn't around learning she had went to find her. She grasped her gun in one hand and looked around with her hood on. The dim lights at night made Calise uncomfortable due to her sister being out alone. The brown strands of hair appeared under her hood.
Bryson stood guarding the wall, there wasn't many keepers on, it was a quite night. He paced back and fourth, gun slung over his shoulder as he looked down bellow. A girl with red hair walked bellow, hands in pockets looking suspicious, but how didn't in the pound. He walked down the stairs telling the other officers that he was going to take the ground shift for a little.
Alexandra hummed softly to herself, a children's rhyme, just to keep her clam. She watched one of the guards head down the stairs and she continued humming, the speed picking up as her nerves did. She could try and charm him...that worked with some of the guards.
Calise saw a red head and guard step down the stairs. She ran forward towards the light seeing where he had gone into. Calise stopped by the stairs hoping she wouldn't be caught. She closed her eyes, "1...2...3." She murmured peeking under the strand of hair.
Bryson heard a soft counting, he acted calm at first but before she could try and thing he spun around and pointed his gun at her chest. For a moment he was shocked, she was pretty, very pretty, to beautiful for the pound "don't move" he said his face stone. The guards saw the commotion and pointed their guns at the red head too.
September peeked behind a wall, seeing a girl with guns pointed at her. She tilted her head, seeing she might need help. She gripped a piece of wood tightly, wincing as she got splinters. "Pssst," She whispered to her, hoping the others wouldn't hear.
((Hey Abby sorry to say this but I don't want this thread to be clustered if you can wait a minute I'll make anther cherrie an we can RP?))
Alexandra watched the Keeper draw a gun on anothet girl and frowned, instantly stepping forward. "Leave her be" the red head said, hertemper as fiery as her hair
"Get away your going to die." She whispered and stared back at the boy, "Why?" She asked and smirked. Her gun was out of her pocket and pointed down at the ground. "Cant tell a rebellion what to do." She murmured and her tone sounded like the melody she murmurs all the time. How weird.
He cocked his gun and pointed it a her head "actually I can" he said his voice slightly shaken, but he straightened his back and focused his stare. "You" he said to the red head "walk over here, slowly, and hands up" he turned back to the rebel "I knew I smelt a rat" he said starring daggers at her "what were you planning"
Calise smiled and slipped out. She backed away looking at him. "Keep your grip keeper boy." She smirked and looked at the gun clutched in her hand. "Tell your guards to back off and i can care for myself." Calise told the guard and back at the red head. She then thought she saw her sister. "No." she whispered.
(Denver might take long to comment but maybe.)
((Maybe Calise would run, she saw her sister so i might join you both))
((Can i join you two? I made Calise run))
Bryson stared at the girl but before he could catch her she turned around running, he couldn't take the shot so he froze. "Stop" he shouted after her but before the keepers could catch her she was gone. "You" he said turning to the red head "you know her?" He asked frowning his gun aimed at her
((I'm back!))
Alexandra shrugged, "perhaps i do, perhaps i dont. Theres a lot of people in the pound." She stared him down, unafraid of the weapon. Clearly, he couldnt be the best of shots

He straightened again breathing in the cool crispy air "don't think I won't shoot you" he said, stone faced "look, just stay away from the wall" he said lowering his gun slightly "I don't like killing little girls" he said, his eyes unmoving from the girls fiery hair
Alexandra placed her hands on her hips, eyes narrowing. "Your eyes must decieve you, Keeper. I'm no little girl. I'm far more dangerous than youd imagine" her age was often mistaken due to herpetite size as well as her strength
"It doesn't matter" he said raising his gun again "I don't want to shoot you" there was a sadness in his eyes, he didn't want anything to happen but the guards all had their guns pointed at her so Bryson did something he hopped he wouldn't regret,"it's fine" he said to the other keepers "I got her" he grabbed the girl by the arm and dragged her to a spot that wasn't visible from the wall "do you have a death wish!" He said in a low whisper
She smirked, "Perhaps. You do realize death would be far more peaceful than living in the Pound, right? Oh wait, no, you probably have a nice, shiny, solar powered house to go home to at night" she said bitterly.
Bryson's face was stone "look... just stay out of trouble" he said letting the girl go "I help out you people more than you know, but there's no way out of here, if there was believe me, id be standing at the exit helping people out of this place"
"You come, you go. But we're stuck here." Alexandra said, "There's got to be a way out. I was born here. I didn't do something to get sent here. I shouldn't be stuck in this hell hole just because one man thinks I must be."
"Then why don't you run for president, kid" his face was stone as he walked closer towards her "last week I saw a little girl get thrown in here, you have no idea how much I wanted to stop that but what use would it be? Id be killed and that little girl would still be stuck here. If you want to get out you need to stay out of sight and don't go looking for fights, that's how you end up dead"
She rolled her eyes, "There's no getting through your thick skull, is there? They've already brainwashed you." She crossed her arms over her chest.
"Fine" he said crossing his arms and slinging his gun over his back "I'll prove it to you". Bryson wasn't thinking rationally "follow me and I'll show you that I'm actually doing something about this, unlike you" he said, his words tipped with poison
She glared at him, her eyes full of flaming rage, but she nodded in agreement to follow. Her lips were pressed tightly together to keep back the onslaught of words threatening to burst out
He took turn after turn through alleys until he reached the south side if the wall, he opened the door of an abandoned building right next to wall. He held open the door to her "what you see here can not be spoken to a soul" he said, looking at her with a deadly stare
"Cross my heart" she said sarcastically, her arms crossed over her large chest expectantly. Her red hair was a wavy, crazy mane around her small face
He grinned "I can't believe I'm doing this" he closed the door behind her and started down a spiral of stairs, once the reached the ground floor, he walked into a small room and flicked on a flash light he had in his pocket. Pushing a bookshelf aside he revealed a hug hole in the ground and a hollowed out ground bellow.
Alexandra stood near the lip, but not near enough he could push her in. "What is that?" she asked the Keeper, still not knowing exactly how to address him
"I was wondering around one day and found a caved in road just outside of the city, I walked down and found what was once called a subway, tunnels that lead all around the city as even to different cities. I marked ruffly where the pound was from inside and dug up. I've been working on it for a year, I finally broke through last week" he said sliding the bookcase back into place
"This is a way out?" Alexandra asked slowly, her eyes widening to their full capacity. She couldn't believe it. A way out.
"Not exactly" he said rubbing the back of his neck "if you go down there you probably won't come out, the first time I went down I was stuck down there for 2 days, I have a map but you can't just ditch because I won't survive"
"But you know how to get out, right? There's an actual way out!" A weird sort of excitement had built up inside of her. She'd never been outside the tall, towering walls of the pound.
"Yeah" he said, his voice low but strangely small. "So you're just gonna take off? I show you this and you're going to leave? I built this to help everyone escape not some little girl"
"For the second time, I am not a little girl. Do not call me that." she said, her face hardening once more. "and God no, I'm not going to leave, yet. There's people here, people who need my help. Children who shouldn't be here. I'd never leave them behind."
Bryson actually smiled, a rare sight on his face. He extended his hand "hi, I'm Bryson, sorry for almost shooting you"
"Alexandra" she said, shaking his hand firmly, "And you wouldn't have. Shot me, I mean" she said with a grin as if she knew without a doubt she was correct.
