I don't have any "friends" in the Cosy Mystery group. i am trying to find a mystery recommened bt a friend. Would anyone be willing to be my friend and make arecommendation for cosy from this year?
Susan wrote: "I don't have any "friends" in the Cosy Mystery group. i am trying to find a mystery recommened bt a friend. Would anyone be willing to be my friend and make arecommendation for cosy from this year?"Why yes. You need one published this year? I’m about to read
which just came out, and someone whom I know from GR read an advanced copy and raved about it. Shall we? We can either thank Barbara for the recommendation later or throw metaphorical tomatoes at her. Time will tell! And if that one doesn't interest you, i sent you a friend request. I've got a ***few*** other choices on my lists (massive eye roll at that obvious understatement!!)
You can always browse my shelves. If you can't find something between my Read shelf, Currently Reading shelf and Want to Read shelf which total a mere 1900 plus books....Yes I know I am way past needing to trim my Want to Read shelf (aka Mount TBR or the Book Mountain of Doom)

Susan, I'll send you a request now. And about recommendations, I think I've only read (that I remember and I've liked) the last one by Miranda James, the last one by Kate Carlisle in the Bibliophile Mysteries series (oh, and some books in the Retreat Series by Katie Daley).

I am sitting out again this month while I work on some non-mystery books. Of course I do have the serial reads in another group and I'm halfway through the first one.

I've got serials in stand-by because I've seen that they don't usually fit with my way of reading (it feels too much as an assignment :( , even if I like the books). And non-mystery... well, I have some of them in a row... (romance, that is...)

I will be taking a break from the serial reads challenge in August. I still have my second book for May unread. I still have my 5th book from the May mini challenge here to read too.
I just fired up my Audible copy of the 6th Wheel of Time doorstopper. I am still in the prologue which seems longer than some cozy mystery novels.
