Shepherd Center Book Club discussion

Such a good meeting today. We did a pot luck to round up the year. We had food from the various places mentioned in the book:

Spanish paella
Swedish (ish) meatballs
Enchiladas from the southwest
Iranian rice
Sweet potatoes
Chinese egg rolls
Pigs in a blanket for the hot dog seller
Virgin daquiris with umbrellas!
Banana bread (just cause it was yummy)
Elephant shaped candies
Pop rocks
Oreo balls
Smoked fish dip

It seemed to me that everyone who read the book enjoyed the story. There were some obviously outlandish parts but it was fun.
