I remembered she was a client that Mickey represented several times. She helped him while she was in lockup and he helped her get into rehab. I don't know why he had a soft spot for her over some of his other clients. Also have no idea why she let him believe she was still in Hawaii. Maybe she felt bad that she couldn't maintain her lifestyle and went back to her old tricks.
I remembered her very well. In fact, I was really surprised when Giselle turned out to be Gloria/Glory.
I never quite understood Mickey’s odd connection to her. Maybe it was that she never made excuses. Gloria was one of those women who seemed to get some pleasure from giving pleasure. He saw something in her and she didn’t want to disappoint him. Hiding in plain site was probably her way of honoring him and his ideal of her.
