Mickey is now in a relationship with Kendall Roberts, a former prostitute now owner of a yoga studio. What do you make of their relationship?

I don't think much of the relationship at all. It's almost like Mickey is killing time with Kendall until he can find the right person. I don't think it will last long.

One moment he’s questioning her as part of the investigation and next they’re sleeping together. We got virtually nothing about their relationship. Juries out.

I figure that is all we're going to get from Michael Connelly. Mickey's love-life is probably like Bosch's love-life. He'll get a new woman every other book.
