Ray Bradbury's sci-fi compilation of short stories about American space travel and the taking over of Mars set in 1999-2026. Perhaps I was less than impressed by this because I'm living in the time he was prophecizing and, oh, how wrong was he! Particularly disturbing was the chapter on Blacks leaving their White masters (ahem, employers?) in 2005. Not to mention that women were little more than side notes to the lives of men. It just wasn't fitting to my taste in reading. Though, I do still look forward to reading his novel Fahrenheit 451.
