Dunedin Public Library discussion

The Wild Things Dave Eggers' 2009 adaptation of the movie by himself and Spike Jones, which was an adaptation of Maurice Sendak's children's book. This was an absolutely beautiful, sweet, touching, insightful novel about a little boy who is misunderstood by his family and has a hard time knowing how to control his, often, very confusing emotions. He retreats into his very realistic imagination and finds himself the unfortunate, but optimistic king to a gang of friendly but flesh hungry monsters.
