I had originally thought of both initials, but wonder if that makes it too difficult to find books.
Now that I think about it a bit more, one initial is enough. So the book does work.

Book finished on 1/20. It's only the second book but I can see myself really getting into this series. It's dark and gritty which is a nice change of pace from some of the more cozy historical mysteries I have been reading.

I wasn't as impressed with it as most people were. It's on the list of the Idiot's Guide to Reading -Historical Mysteries. I'm not really sure I understand why.

Me too! I was a little bummed to find that apparently the copy of the book I had was missing the last 32 pages. Now I am on a quest to find them.
I know. The issue was suppose to be corrected when the paperback version of the novel was released. The problem with that is I have checked every library in the state of Minnesota. Nobody seems to have the paperback edition much less realize there was an issue with the original version. To me that feels like a bad job by the publisher.

I want to give the next book a try just because I really enjoyed the author's short story in a Medieval Murder book I recently read. This full novel just wasn't great. The writing style was kind of all over the place and the mystery just wasn't much of a mystery. It kind of took a back seat to all of the taking during sex Nick and Nell did.

Book finished 5/10. This book was fast paced and full of action. It gave me some great insight into a period I know little about. The cameos from other historical figures were great.

Finished 5/21- This book was a hilarious, light read. Arabella is a fantastic MC. I'm kind of disappointed there appear to only be three books in this series.

This book was much better than the first. However, I don't think putting Thomas' name in series is very fitting. At this point , it's the Emily show featuring Charlotte with an appearance by Thomas.

Finished on 6/30. I rather enjoyed this book. Hugh was an intriguing character. I would not recommend reading this book while eating or drinking. There is a description of a medieval kidney stone removal that required me to take a time out.

Book to be Read - I'm going to tentatively put down The Proud Sinner. The synopsis seems to suggest poisoning. If this is not the case, I will pick something else.
