Basically, I was happy to find a book discussion group with no mod, but this place is a mess. Almost NOTHING has anything to do with books. Any topics in the "general" area can be deleted at your leisure... I'm deleting the folders I don't need and will be creating basically a COMPLETELY NEW group lol
Need:
finish deleting old crappy topics
rules
template for book discussion topics
advertising topic?
anything else?

Dont mind me, I'm random
I know how to delete polls, and I can try and figure out the vids

I can do polls easy
I have NO idea how to get rid of the vids though you might want to contact GR about it :/

How do the folders look now? Imma include something in the template for telling genre in the topic title.
Not relavent or anything :/ I looked I honestly couldn't find anything
DRAFT
How's this look so far? Anything to add or reword?
Rules
Keep it clean. Remember that Goodreads is open to minors, so you never know who may be reading your posts. This means no smut and keep the cussing to a minimum. Cuss words should be ones that would not be bleeped out on daytime television.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but remember, this is a DISCUSSION group. Not an arguing group. Keep it civil and respectful.
Only literary items should be discussed. NO MOVIES OR TV SHOWS. Mentions of shows or movies based on books should be kept to a minimum. You may compare, but topics based solely on the cinematic version will be deleted.
The mods' word is law. It is our job to keep the peace and keep the group clean and drama free. Help us do our job by listening to us and not arguing with us. Simply comply as needed.
Every member of this group will read these rules and reply with their acceptance of such. Any posts prior to the signing of the rules will be deleted. Any disregard for these rules will not be tolerated and may result in banning.

template? What kinda template?
For starting a discussion. What information should be provided in the title of your thread, how bibliographical information should be presented, etc.
DRAFT
This will go in each discussions folder as a guide for people to post topics about the books they would like to discuss. How does it look so far?
How to Use
When you want to start a new book discussion, please use the following tips.
-- The topic title should include the book/series name, the author (at least the last name), and the genre. Here are some examples:
Harry Potter (full series) - JK Rowling - fantasy This topic could be placed in either children's or YA. For more precise heading, you could put J or YA in front of fantasy to show what level you would like to discuss it at. Of course, the folder you place it in will be obvious, but if there is a topic for it in both, the notifications may get confusing if not labeled with the J or YA.
Fire Bringer - David Clement-Davies - fiction This one is kinda hard cause it's anthropomorphic, which to me means fantasy. But it and Watership Down are considered fiction by my local library. Just do your best when giving the genre. You can always change it later if you decide it's a different genre than what you put.
Iron Druid Chronicles - Kevin Hearne - urban fantasy This one actually says urban fantasy on the cover!
I Am Spock - Leonard Nimoy - autobiography Try to label nonfiction as their category, not just as nonfiction.
-- To help people know exactly what book you what to discuss, place a link using the "add book/author" just above the posting box. This is not available on the app, however, so providing a written description would help to.
-- Remember that everyone will not always have the same opinion as you do, so be ready for some good discussion. Flaming/trolling will not be tolerated and can get members banned, so play nice!

ok, I think I have everything set up! do you see anything that needs finishing/fixing other than all the crap vids & posts?
mm....I dont think there is anything else that needs to be done...
^_^ awesome! All that's left are the vids
yea, i looked that one up and only the person who uploaded it can delete it. at least that's what it looks like. i sent a message to gr for help.
in settings. they're key words people might search for. the words may not be in the group name, but if you put the words as tags, the group will show up anyway.
oh really? O~O I didn't know that
lol yup. some people add crazy tags, just to make their boring group show up with more popular ones.
lol I just learned something new, I've never added tags to my groups before O~O
lol you should! it will help them show up in searches. check on beginner's and GC to see some tags I use for warriors groups...
