I dont know which book it's in but I guess if you've read this book then you've read the others too.

I was wondering about this for some reason. Does it say what the piercing is made of? I mean if its silver then his *ahem* would constantly be burning right? If its some other metal then wouldn't it just quickly heal around it? And if its a blend of silver and whatever his *ahem* would still burn just not as much right? Makes no sense to me.

Just a thought...he may have been pierced before he became a vampire. Also I think most of those are made of surgical steel.

But don't the injuries you had as a human heal when you become a vampire? And surgical steel or not wouldn't it heal? I don't know.

I'm not positive as far as this book series is concerned. In most vampire books, usually the persons body stays the way they were before they died. Piercings and all.

I'm willing to forgive what may not be realistic for a vampire because it soooo fits Ian's personality. Hopefully JF will write Ian's book soon and explain it to us. All I know is that I snorted out loud when Cat said that she totally did not need to know he was pierced down there. One of the funniest lines in the series!

I can't wait for Ian's book. I'm curious to see what kind of woman that he would get serious with. Not to mention I think that a jealous possessive Ian would be hilarious.

Now that I think about it. Bones has a tatoo that I'm almost positive that he got after he became a vampire. (Correct me if I'm wrong) so the rules about body modification with these vamps is unclear to me on this series. Wait!? Cat got a demon-possession-prevention tattoo after she was a vampire with silver infused ink... But still, before or after he was turned OUCH that had to Hurt.
