Rosetta shyly walked into the quarantine room. She hugged g herself across her chest as if it was protection. When she saw the other woman there she averted her eyes. She thought that she would be braver for how long she was in here. Or at least, thought she was in her. But no she was still the delicate Rosetta.
From across the room, Jolie glared at the newcomer, in the way she knew her sapphire blue eyes effected others, the way that made them shiver. "What are you in here for, girl?"
Rosetta looked up slowly, her eyes looking around hesitantly, until reaching deep blue eyes in her path. A cold chill suddenly ran up and down her back, never ending. "I- I see things..." She stuttered, "Thing that aren't really there. She hadn't had an episode in months, but that was because she was avoiding people.
Jolie snorted. "Right, well, whose to say they ARENT there?" Enjoying her mind games, she leans forward a bit. "Whose to say these fuckers are the insane one by NOT seeing things? I'll tell you...I see things all the time...Future, past....and I can see your death. It will be in here, all alone, no family or friends."A cynical smirk.
Rosetta already knew se would die in here alone but tears fell down her face even so. "My family is dead anyway." She said between sobs and put her head in her hands. She desperately wanted to be free of this place, but no one ever escapes, no one ever leaves, only new arrivals are brought to the asylum.
For a moment, Jolie actually felt like a heel. She scowled, hating how tears humanized everything, and leaned back again, resting her arm on her knee."Well. At least that is something we can both relate to."
Rosetta continued to sob for a few minutes, then when she started to calm down she looked around the room. "I don't even know why I'm here? I haven't left my cell in months." She was wondering if the doctor was ever going to show up so she could go through her 'treatment'.
((COUGH COUGH HINT HINT SORA DOC NEEDS TO GET HERE!))"You are here," Jolie said, with a bit more sympathy, "because the docs like to play mind games -even more than me - and play God, pulling on our strings, making us do their wishes."
Rosetta seem to know that very well. Apparently she was any easy target, she often spoke with the doctors, or rather was treated by the doctors, you could tell by the several markings all over her stomach and legs. She did resist, which is to say the least.
(aw poor rosetta!!))Jolie was silent for a bit, fiddling with the gem in her wrist. "You gotta stop being such a pussy all the time," she said as if reading Rose's thoughts. "Buck up, chin up, and don't let them shove you around like this. I mean, do you see ME crying like a baby?"
Rosetta looked to the ground, she couldn't help being scared by this place, she didn't believe there was a brave bone in her entire body. "I'm not exactly like you..." She said quietly, then trailing off.
Jolie snorted. "Not yet, you aren't." She let that sink in for a minute, and then moved to her feet. She was slow, so the sudden movement wouldn't startle the doe-like prisoner. "How'd ya like to learn to grow a spine, girl?"
Rosetta thought it about it for a moment. "I don't think I could ever really be brave. It just not with in me." She stated honestly. Her tears had dried, and now there were salty streaks on her face, you could see the glare by the reflect of the light.
Jolie scowled and rolled her eyes. "Well I refuse to believe you are absolutely hopeless. But seriously, if you want the scum docs to lay off, you have to at least APPEAR to have a spine. And I can help with that."
Rosetta felt hopeless, she had been her long enough why would they see a sudden difference in her when they all knew she was scared. She felt like crying again but she held it back, this girl probably thought she was a baby.
"See, right there," Joile snapped, suprising the girl by snapping her hand out, grabbing a lock of Rose's hair, drawing her face closer. "I can see the fear in your eyes. You need to BLOCK those feelings, need to be a master of your own body. YOu understand? Don't let them play god!"She then gently untangles her hand from Rose's hair.
((Tough loce, sorta thing XD ))
((Lol))
Rosetta bit her lip, she didn't like being touched. She clenched her fists. She knew the girl was trying to help her, but she looked at the entire situation differently, she was meant to be in this place, even if those men had killed her father, she killed them, she could hear the screams of there mercy when they were laying before her slowly dieing.

"Nobody should be forever condemned because of past mistakes, girl," Jolie murmered, and as if remembering her own past, brought her gem-grafted wrist up, and rubbed it absently.
Rosetta knew that what she did was nothing that should be punished for centuries, but she still felt guilty. "I don't care, what I did was wrong and I deserve to be here." She said quietly.
Jolie resisted slapping the stupid girl. "No. You made a mistake. One mistake doesn't cause for a lifetime of hell."
Rosetta wasn't going to argue but she wasn't going to accept her answer either. She just shrugged. She looked to the window, wondering were the doctor was for a second time.
Jolie held back the snarl in her throat, curling her hands into a fist."Do you WANT to survive this place or not??"
Rosetta felt like she already was. "I am, it may not be by your definition, but I'm surviving. I don't tAlk back, and I don't act out, I've seen what they do to those people, and that's how I survive."
Jonathan hadn't necessarily intended on coming into this room of the asylum, but the conversation he heard caught his interest. What in the world could the two be talking about with such words? From what he remembered, the two scheduled into Quarantine were one Rosetta and the very captain herself, or so she liked to be known. He rarely saw either of the two recently, and hadn't even had a session with Rosetta given her quiet nature in her stay, so why not go in a check on them? The man opened the door with a creek, standing in the doorway. "Ladies," he gave them a hello. His voice was soft. "And what might have happened for you to wind up in this awful dreary place?"
((I hope this suffices. Sora can say no to it if she doesn't want him mixing in.))
((I hope this suffices. Sora can say no to it if she doesn't want him mixing in.))
Rosetta turned to the doctor in the door way, she instantly gasped and looked down to the floor. Why was she there? She didn't even know. "I was told." She said quietly. She hadn't had a session with Jonathon, and she didn't plan on having to. She liked the least amount of attention drawn to her as possible.
The man gave her a blank stare as she seemed to be frightened by him. Was he a man to be scared of? He hardly even spoke a word to this girl, yet she acted like a cowering bunny. It was almost as if she had been tamed already. That was no good, no good indeed. He walked into the room just enough to still be within arms reach of the door, yet closer to the girl within. He kneeled down next to her, slowly as to not frighten her further. "Do you always do as your told?" he asked, but didn't really give her a chance to answer right away before continuing. "Do you deem yourself worthless enough to be bent at the will of others so easily? Like a child at the mercy of someone holding a knife...?"
Rosetta looked away, she couldn't keep a straight face when looking toward the doctors of the asylum. "Yes sir." She said quietly. She held her arms to her chest as if to keep her safe from any harm, though she knew it was no good. She held her eyes shut, waiting for the worst to happen.
Jonathan studied her, eyes moving across her body. It wasn't sexual, not in the least, more observant. He stood up again and gave a little shrug. "That's too bad. With the way you came into this asylum, I would have expected more fight from you." He almost gave a little smirk, his lip twitching as if he wanted to. Something flashed behind his eyes. He wanted to know how she ticked. What made her act like she did when she was brought into this place? "You think keeping quiet and complient will keep you safe, but really, you'll only make it worse. Everyone here wants to break you."
Rosetta shlyly looked at the man now, "Why give them what they want then? I mean ..." she looked away again, but this time she closed her eyes when she did so. She had to get her thoughts straight. Sure she tried to kill people, hell she did, but that was only to be safe, she had a thirst to kill then, and when she entered the asylum she wanted to be back with those men, anything to be out of this place. But she continued her thoughts aloud, "If I easily bend to there whishes... then there is no hope.
Jonathan did smirk now. "It doesn't really matter how you act, you'll always be playing into someone else's hands. Right now, you're playing into mine. Simply talking to me, you've already been bending to my wishes." He shrugged, the smirk gone. "Don't talk to me, you'll play into to hands of those that want your defiance, like the girls who still think they have a chance to beat the system here. Act a fool, play into the Chaser's hands. Act insane... well, then you're playing into everyone's hands. It's all one big game, you see," he was probably rambling at this point, that spark inside flicker ever so slightly.

Jolie knew she didn't belong here. She knew it, and no matter what others said or thought, she would be out of here soon. Besides, her crew was waiting for her, they were waiting, and as their esteemed captian, it would be bad for her to make them wait.
Blowing air from her cheeks, Jolie sighed, bouncing her weight from one foot to the other, waiting.
