I've been signed up for the 6-10 books level but just finished reviewing my 14th book. If I had to narrow my challenge to one topic (detective or author) it would have to be Rebus/Rankin. I'll start with my last Detective Rebus entry: Dead Souls.

Great review, Ellen. I really want to try Rebus out, I like that he sounds imperfect but dedicated. I’ve only seen Morse on telly - have you seen the modern series, Endeavour, which is a new take on a younger Morse? It’s brilliant, a bit far fetched at times, but very good. Anyway, I digress. Good luck with your new level, you’re doing great :)

Yes, I never miss Endeavor and I truly did love Morse. If you start on Rebus let me say that in my opinion they can be each read alone but in order is best bet. There are so many books (I'm on 22nd) in that series and finding each one may prove a bit difficult so I've read 3 or 4 in order then take what I can get at that moment.
My latest Rebus review. Rather Be the Devil, Rebus # 21, by Ian Rankin.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
