I have read all of Nora Roberts' books up to date but have been reading her for over 20 years love her books

I've only heard great things about Montana Sky and Blue Smoke. Since those are stand alones I may try to read those first.

Some of these first stories in the 80's are killing me. Luckily they are shorter. I'm going to have to mix them up with some new stuff and series!

Even when they're from a favorite writer, some of these books just seem old and out of touch. I end up mixing them in with the newer stuff as you suggested.

You said it right-out of touch. I don't mind that they are dated, but some of the things that go on are just eye roll inducing.
I like that a lot of the earlier pieces are novellas but I'm definitely going to mix it up!

Congratulations! I read the MacKade Brothers series many years ago. I remember liking it. What did you think?

I did enjoy it. It reminded me a lot of Inn Boonsboro trilogy. The brothers, the war fought land, etc.
Finished DC Detectives in Nov/Dec. In 2022 I'm planning on getting through her 83 and 84 works.
