-Christy Miller Collection, Vol. 1
note: This is a christian coming of age series thats actually very romantic and has a follow up series during her college years and a companion series following one of her friends. its actually one of my fav book series from middle school and is a contemporary romance series that's a nice fast read.
Some of my all-time favourites that may not be that famous (or that not many people talk about them) are:-The Underland Chronicles by Suzanne Collins

Great books I've read recently:
Finnikin of the Rock
The First Law Trilogy

On the Jellicoe Road
Finnikin of the Rock
The First Law Trilogy
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
On the Jellicoe Road
-They Both Die at the End by Adam SilveraI cried so hard. In this world, 24 hours before you die you get a phone call telling you. This book is about two lgbt teenage boys who get the call and end up meeting each other on an app. Chaos and looooove ensues.
-The Shatter Me books by Tahereh Mafi
Yes, yet another dystopian love triangle book, but it's not so bad (but maybe I think that because my favorite guy wins???) These books are about people with powers trying to overthrow the corrupt government. Also the MC literally sucks the life from people with a touch. How about that?
-Willful Machines by Tim Floreen
A scifi story about a teen in boarding school and boy he has a crush on, with kind of an overarching plot about AI terrorism. It's pretty great.
-We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson
Basically a gay teenager who keeps getting abducted by aliens who want him to decide whether the human races lives or dies. There's a big red button and everything.

Historical Fiction: The Boston Girl
Fantasy:The Black Jewels Trilogy: Daughter of the Blood, Heir to the Shadows, Queen of the Darkness, any book in Anne Bishop's Others series, or any Patricia Briggs's books (Masques-first book she ever wrote)

I recommend anything by Ellen Hopkins! Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman
The Graceling trilogy by Kristin Cashore
The Diviners by Libba Bray
A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly
Song of the Current by Sarah Tolcser
Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert
And I Darken by Kiersten White
The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich
And
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline!

1. Published year you were born (1997)
2. Multiple POV
3. Antonyms in title
4. Ban..."
Harry Potter #1 and Ella Enchanted were both first published in 1997.
For antonyms, I read Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day by Seanan McGuire. It's not very long but wow! It packs quite a punch. :-)
For banned books, wasn't Harry Potter banned somewhere?
For multiple POVs, I think most books by Nora Roberts and Jayne Ann Krentz feature multiple POVs, so if you're open to romantic suspense (some are paranormal). . .
I hope that the above helps! :-)
