Favorite book? It;s such a hard question! I love Pride and prejudice, The Infernal Devices series and Discworld, especially books about City Watch.

As for my favorite book? No idea, LOL. It shifts and there are some books I'll always love.

I read too many genres and probably read too many books to have a favorite. I love Kate Daniels & Mercy Thompson series, The Night Circus is always a great read. I love some classics like The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, Woman in White, and Pride and Prejudice.

It's Janessa, just checking in. This is my first time playing Uno and, I have to admit, I'm a little nervous; I hope I can keep up with you seasoned vets out there, but I will, of course, do my absolute best to stay on top of things.

I don't know if I have a favourite genre; I'm more of a mood reader. Right now, I'm in the mood for sci-fi :)

Hi Everyone! This will be my first time playing Uno, but I've loved team games in the past (including Wobble). I don't really have a favorite genre. I like some of almost everything. I live in Illinois, where temperatures can go from 50 to below zero in a 24 hour period :)

Carol, Wobble was insane but brilliant fun. It was a series of different challenges (wheelathon, Olympics, bingo, battleship etc) that lasted about 6 months.

I think if anyone survived Wobble Uno should be a doddle.

Has anyone started planning their reading for February yet?

I have to admit I'm a bit of a mood reader so don't tend to plan that far ahead but I may have a look and see what I have that'll fit a coloured card.

I'm kind of a challenge junkie so I have some quarterly & annual challenges that I've started finding potential books for. I'm trying to keep track of the cover color, location etc as i mark the books in my to-read section

I had fun with Wobble, but I felt really drained by the end. Carol - Wobble was run by the Nothing but reading challenge group. They also have a "Tower Team" challenge that I thought was more fun. I'm not sure when they'll have the next one but I think they set up 1 per year?

I'm just getting over the flu that's been going around so taking it pretty easy this weekend. Reading, sleeping, catching up on tv that I missed. I spent a big chunk of yesterday binge watching The Tunnel. That show is awesome. Does anyone else watch it?

I'm going to theatre today :)

I was looking through descriptions of the cards. Are cards wild and Wild draw four the only rules that changed this year? Or did I miss something?

I've only seen the film of Les Mis but the music is great so I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Hello, I'm Rachel.
This is my first time participating in UNO challenge and I am so excited! I love reading all kinds of books but fantasy and historical fiction are probably my favorite genre.

I know we are still about 5 days out from starting UNO. But I was sorting through my books for a different challenge and found this: . Which I've wanted to read for awhile and haven't gotten to. It'll work for our Blue 3 spot.

So if no one minds, I'll call dibs on that one.

I also have this which can work for 9 Yellow

Les Mis was great! I especially adore actress who played Eponine, she has a lovely voice. <3

I can cover red. I'm not sure if all cards will have a color - i don't think so?

I loved Les Mis - it's been a long time since i saw the play (10 - 15 years?) but i remembered loving both it and the more recent movie.

If you look at the team spreadsheet, you’ll see what color cards we have. I think we have 5 or so across all the hands plus the wild draw 4s

We actually have 7 coloured cards and two wild draw 4s so 9 in total.
- 3 x reds (2/T, 4/F, 6/S)
- 2 x blue (3/H, 8/E)
- 2 x yellow (9/N, 4/F)

I should be able to cover one of the reds as I have which should work for the 3 (although it looks redder on my kindle) and which I need to check a see if it fits
