Can we propose buddy reads for previous books of the month? If so, is there a timepost, e.g. after X months or years?
Thanks.

Hey Montagner, sorry just seeing this. Yes, you can propose a buddy read for any POC book you like. It can even be a book we previously discussed if you like. Just suggest one and see if anyone is interested in joining in.

This folder is for you to suggest a book you’d like to read along with others in this group, at any time.
What books are eligible for Buddy Reads?
Aligned with the purpose of this group – Literary Fiction by People of Color (LFPC) – the author of the book must be written by a person of color.
The book suggested can be:
- Fiction
- Non-fiction
- Poetry
How do you propose a book for a Buddy Read?
Propose your buddy read in the “Buddy Reads Planning” thread.
When at least one more fellow group member is interested in reading and a start date has been decided upon, I (as one of LFPC’s moderators) will set up a thread for the book in this folder.
Buddy Reads are unmoderated, though the book participants may decide on a reading schedule.
Any member is free to join in to a book discussion at any time.
Happy Reading!
