NZ Intermediate School Librarians discussion

Gripping sci-fi/ dystopian trilogy, includes The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and The Answer and Monsters of Men. Story of escape and chase, mind games, oppression by race and gender and overall grit and determination. I’m loving Patrick Ness and think this moving and exciting trilogy is fabulous for Intermediate, boys and girls. Some detail of killing, torture and inhumane treatment make them unsuitable for anything younger than Intermediate in my opinion.
