The story opens with Ellis and Long causing a biker to crash out on the freeway. First, did you have any clue they were cops? Next, did you suspect it was Cisco?

I guess Connelly didn't actually say that Ellis and Long were cops, but there was something that made me think that they were. I know it said that Ellis was the senior partner with Long riding shotgun.

I didn't put it together that the motorcycle victim was Cisco. Only when Haller mentioned that his investigator was in a motorcycle accident did I figure it out.

I got completely thrown by that. My mind immediately went to the corporate world:) Thought it was road rage in the extreme.

Cisco never crossed my mind until Harry brought it up!
