Ellis and Long seemed to operate with lawless abandonment. Was it really plausible that no one knew that something was off with these two, especially since Internal Affairs was looking into them?

They seemed to be too busy with their side business (Ashley Juggs and Annie Minx) and covering up the previous murders to actually have time to do their job. I find it hard to believe their supervisor wouldn't be wondering what they did all day.

Same for me, Robin. IAD was looking at them for not being where they were supposed to be once too often. That should have been a big red flag for their command considering they were vice cops.
