As I have posted about before, World's Without End has an annual challenge called Roll Your Own, which features a ton of different challenges you can join in on(many of which overlap)

Last year I completed:
Women of Genre Fiction
Read the Sequel
The Weird
Listomania

The challenges are grouped by types of reading, types of authors, etc, so it lends really well to a lot of overlap

So for 2018, I am making a big plan to try and combine even more!

So far:
Listomania (again)
Read the Sequel (again)
Grand Mistresses of Genre Fiction
The Collections (short story collections)
The Urban Fantasy Challenge (for guilty pleasure purposes)

I am also highly considering adding in Apocalypse now.....hmmmm

You can check it out here: https://www.worldswithoutend.com/roll...

Allan Phillips I've spent a fair amount of time on WWE and have all my stuff catalogued there as well as Goodreads. Their "Classics of SF" list is my main guide to reach my goal of reading the top 100 sci-fi novels, and the others are solid references.

I've just started fooling around with the RYO challenges. I've kept it to only a few because I want to keep it within my reading capacity, and have it match up with my other reading goals. So in my challenges, there's a little bit of overlap between the books I've chosen. I'm in:

12 Awards, 12 Months - read 10/12 already this year
Hard Core SF - 2/12
2018 Space Opera - 0/12

I may start a joint Hugo/Nebula RYO. I know that was a group challenge in SFA but I was not a member then. I've already read about half of them anyway.

I got all of mine finished except for short story collections. Which is sad, really, because I really wanted to read more of them.

still havent decided for 2019 yet though

Allan Phillips I did 8 challenges that overlapped a little. The only one I missed was 2018 Books Read. My goal was 100 and I hit 92. I actually read 103 books but 11 were not on the WWE site, history & biography & such.
