I actually don't have too many thoughts about these few chapters, since I accidentally read ahead before I could write down my thoughts on here haha!

The whole situation with Lily and her geography project just sucks. I feel so bad for her, since she did most of the work and just forgot to hand in something as small as a self evaluation! I really truly dislike the coach and my blood just boils whenever there is a scene with him. When she made up her Total Failure Plan, I couldn't help but feel for her because she literally just felt like there's nothing else she can do to salvage her grade. I think I resonate with her the most just because I am a high school student and things such as the situation with the self evaluation have happened to me and it's just so unfortunate.

Even thought Abelard has a hard time communicating, to me it is pretty clear that he cares for Lily and doesn't want to give up on their relationship. I found it so sweet when he decided to go with her to the diner, he didn't decide to aggravate her by forcing her to go to class, he tried to understand. (I'm not saying that they should have skipped class, but the underlying message of it all was pretty sweet lol)

It is a bit difficult for me to adjust to Lily's behavior and attitude, but I am definitely giving her the benefit of the doubt because of her condition and she can't help the way she acts sometimes. I admit that she does get on my nerves sometimes, but I don't find it as a problem that would lower my rating for this book as of right now.

The story about how Rosalind and Lily became friends is really cute and so suited to Lily's character and her ADHD.

I also loved Abelard and Lily's chess game and the description of Abelard's house with all the books is just INCREDIBLE! His Mum sounded lovely, although a little overprotective. But I feel like she understands Abelard and loves him for who he is which is so important for people with autism. Good parents will help his autism become less severe.

I hope we get to meet Lily's Dad soon.

I also wish that we could see a little more into the mind of Abelard. Personally I think this book may have been better with chapters from both of them (for some reason I though that was how the book was written anyway.) Although I do love following Lily, I just wish we could see a little more about how he is feeling in his words.

I want them to kiss again! I feel like I am connecting with both of their characters. I see why you would find Lily's character a little frustrating Ana, but I am glad that I am really enjoying reading about her.
