I'm about 26% in and love it. Had me in stitches a few times already! I'm so glad I finally picked this up, hopefully it will help me get out of this awful reading slump.

Heather (bruyere) I'm in! I started yesterday. I like the characters so far. They are distinct, which is good. The humor is good, overall. Perhaps a little forced. I will say that there is far too much backstory building in the first few chapters. It seems to have lightened up at the point I'm at now.

Heather (bruyere) Tracey, is it just you and me?

Coby Heitz | 16 comments I read this a few months ago so it’s still fresh for me. That’s why I’m not re-reading it. I loved this book though.

Rick Newland | 12 comments I'm 67% in and really enjoying it now. I was worried because I wasn't liking it at first. I didn't care for how weak and helpless the band seemed, but now they are kicking some ass.

Heather (bruyere) I don't know about others, but I was glad to leave the bro humor behind as you get further into it. It's definitely not a serious book, which is kinda nice.

Glad to hear others are reading.

Rick Newland | 12 comments Finished. Great book. I really loved it. I liked all the hidden rock n roll references too.

Heather (bruyere) It was surprising how well the bank analogy worked without tipping into annoying. My favorite character was the zombie, I mean... :)
