Wow! I am excited to see all the Swifties joining! I guess we should start discussing the first book we are going to read! I say we start it next month so we can all finish any books we might currently be reading and have time to acquire the book!

Y’all I’m so glad that y’all made it to the group! I had like over 500 comments on the initial post and people keep sharing it and that number keeps growing....we only have 46 there. So if you have time to direct people here or know anyone who wanted to join let them know! I feel bad not being able to inform all who wanted to join.

Also for book choice. I’ve read Great Gatsby a few times...I’m fine making it our first book of y’all really want too. It’s age appropriate for all of us I think.

I'm haunted13 (suggested the name swiftreads for the book club name on the original post) and I just finished reading In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware and planning to read The Woman in Cabin 10 next. The Great Gatsby is a great choice for the first book, given the Gatsby themes throughout reputation.

I used to love to read and then I went to law school and started to dread reading, because I had to spend so much time reading boring stuff for my classes. I'm really excited to get back into it though! I don't know if anyone's read Eleanor and Park, but I bought it last year and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since.
