Lauren (hiddentwilight) | 4 comments I wanted to start this thread out with recommending Liu Cixin’s Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy (“The Three Body Problem”, “The Dark Forest”, and “Death’s End”). They are some of the most unique and cerebral science fiction I’ve ever read, and the translations are beautiful.

Christine Herlin | 4 comments I read a Man Called Ove. Written in Swedish! I laughed, I cried. It was the best book I read in 2017- highly recommend. There’s also a movie on it once you finish the book! Yay subtitles!

I'm thinking of reading something by Huruki Murakami, been wanting to read him for awhile. But a Man called Ove sounds great, might have to check that out!
