Have you seen the new Electric Eclectic books yet?
Short novelettes from various authors, written as introductions to their writing style.
It's a great way to find new authors to read and all the books have been vetted for quality.
Just type Electric Eclectic Books into the Amazon search bar.
I don't think any have been reviewed as yet. You may know better?

I applaud the concept and the fact that as a reader I can go to one place to be 'assured' of the quality of new novellas out there.
However as an author I think the founders opening blog stating that almost all free books are free for a reason and the fact that the website looks a mess when viewed on an iPad concerns me about the quality of the work they are actually putting out there.
I was interested to find out how it would work from an author's point of view but there is nowhere on the website that tells you how to apply for your work to be considered and all the discussion groups appear to be for members only which means you are giving out email details before you can read anything.
I am not saying there is anything wrong with the books or the publisher but it all looks a bit too cloak and dagger for me.
I shall continue to buy from indies through recommendations on trusted websites like this and wait to see what happens to Electric Eclectic
Also Paul I do think you should have stated you are the founder as your post does sound as if you are just a reader.
