Katharine In the books Bella is written as a weak girl who does all the cooking and cleaning, falling for a forbidden man, and "loves him" instantly. I hate the way she is portrayed as a stereotypical girl- how are people supposed to lie this? It just makes me cringe. It is sad the way she can't help herself and has to rely on a series of men (dad, Edward, Jacob) to protect her and control her.
Remember when Edward forces her into staying for a 'sleepover' when he goes hunting, WITHOUT HER PERMISSION!
Eclipse (Twilight, #3) by Stephenie Meyer
This story is about a controlling relationship, and it teaches teens that it is ok, romantic, and normal. There is nothing ok with someone taking over your life.
