German's my mother tongue, but I don't speak Italian.
I just looked it up and apparently this series by Kai Meyer isn't translated, which is a shame. But he wrote more which are just as good, like the Arcadia and the Dark Reflections trilogy which are available in English.
And I think the Chronicles should be available in English as well? At least, Goodread says so.

1. Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini (aka Eragon series)
2. Rogue Agent by K.E. Mills
3.Howls moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones
4. The Dark Materials by Philip Pullman
5. Passage Trilogy by Justin Cronin

Honorable mentions to Percy Jackson & the Olympians by Rick Riordan I'm currently only on book 3 but so far I have loved each book in the series so far & I'm sure it will make its way into my favorites.

I really don't know, I've never read from his translated works but I thinkyou should be okay? They do translations in Germany all the times and they're usually pretty good.
