November,2047: the Northwest Secession movement is finally ended. (Northwest secession was when Americans rebelled from the government after Congress repealed the first and second amendment.)
August,2048:The Korean People's Army reaches 25 million total personnel and because of this, the KPA is now the 2nd largest standing military in the world.
February,2049: The United Korean Republic (UKR) uses a satellite disguised as a GPS satellite to EMP Most of North America. KPA forces begin landing in the continental United States, landing in San Francisco and dropping paratroopers in the Midwest beginning the occupation. The GGR also take this time to invade the East coast of the US occupying the east coast all the way down to DC. Days later Atlas Operatives (Atlas is a PMC, allied with the US) are able to fire a second Korean EMP over the East coast disabling a lot of the GGR advance. The US is then able to push the GGR out of DC and continues to push north. The GGR then sets up a jamming tower in New York as they begin to evacuate the injured. An Spec ops Team with Exosuits destroys the jamming tower, then the US launches a missile strike decimating the GGR navy in New York harbor
June,2049: The US lead an assault on England, British resistance sabotage several key transport routes as well as blowing up the Space port in London. After heavy fighting and the Destruction of a GGR defense robot, known as the London Monitor. The US is able to liberate England. the GGR then sets up defenses on the European mainland. A massive invasion of France ensues, in which the Eiffel tower is destroyed. The GGR is retreating using scorched earth tactics to slow the US coalition advance. the US coalition then leads an invasion into the heart of the GGR and into Berlin itself. after Berlin falls the US continues into occupied Russia and after taking Moscow and Siberia the GGR surrenders to the US. The US aided by some European forces round up the GGR high command and put them in jail to await war crime trials.
October,2049: the US leaves Europe it’s own affairs and transfers all troops back home to fight the UKR.
November,2049: Despite all attempts the US is unable to strike back at the UKR occupation
December,2050: The KPA has occupied the United States for a little under one year. Contact with the U.S. east of the Mississippi is lost to the occupied west. The KPA launches Operation Water Snake to irradiate the Mississippi River and the surrounding area, effectively creating a border between the occupied west and free east. A mass grave is created in St. Louis.
January, 2050: The first resistance cells spring up during this time as the KPA takes Las Vegas
March,2050:Salt Lake City is destroyed.
November,2050:Hoover Dam is re-named in honor of the UKR leader
December,2051: this is the third year of the Korean Occupation. The population of the United States is down to 275 million from 310 million in 2010.
February,2051: 15,234 young people serve sentences in the state's FBI-run "good behavior" camps, a legacy of the Northwest War.
April,2051: The socially transmitted "New Plague" arises, killing tens of thousands. The United States closes its borders and the first-ever national quarantine is declared. The source of the plague is unknown, but rumors persist that it is a genetically engineered weapon to try and kill off as many Koreans as possible.
July,2051:The N99 10mm pistol becomes standard issue military sidearm following the phase out of the N80.
September,2051: US forces plan a counter strike against the KPA
