Hi!My name is Cheyenne. I am so excited for the awards this year. I am hoping The Bear and the Nightingale wins for best novel based on what I have read so far but there are so many things I didnt get to yet that I have heard amazing things about. It is always so hard to choose just one favorite.
Hi! I'm Jessica. I am very excited to see how The Stone Sky, and City of Brass do! Also I loved All Systems Red this year so I'm hoping it makes the short list! There are so many other things i haven't read yet though so I'm excited to see what others are talking about :)
Hello.
Reija here (on booktube you can find me here). I'm pulling for Amberlough!
Have to say these awards are the best time of the year for me. It's all so exciting. :)

Hi! I'm Maryam, I have a SFF blog that you can find here and I have been following the Booktube SFF awards since their creation! I cannot wait to see the shortlist! I would love to see the Stone Sky and Raven Stratagem nominated. :)
Hi all, I'm Kaitlin aka Kitty G on YouTube and I'm one of the judges. I have a lot of things I'm excited about potentially making the shortlists this year, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the nominations fall.
We've got some exciting changes which will be announced really soon and we can't wait to share it all with you! x

Hi! I've been eagerly waiting for this year's awards to get started. I'm hoping to read some excellent things I didn't get to last year. I haven't thought about what to nominate yet, but some standouts:Short fiction:
All Systems Red
Extracurricular Activities
Down Among the Sticks and Bones
Mira's Last Dance
Novels:
Raven Stratagem
The Stone Sky
If there's any tedious GR linking stuff, etc. that nobody likes to do, I'd be happy to help. I spend a lot of time here anyway.
Hello! I'm Rachel from TheShadesofOrange, My SFF reading leans towards science fiction, but I've starting appreciating fantasy more recently. (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheShade...)I'm undecided on my nominations at this point, but I'm VERY excited to hear about these upcoming changes and look forward to participating in the babbles topics. =)
Hello, I'm Bob from San Diego. I used to read a great many books for pleasure: Agatha Christie, James Clavell, Tolkien, Tom Clancy and J. K. Rowling. Several years ago, I had a brain surgery which left me with poor motor skills and poor eye sight. I can still read, but it's hard work, so I haven't read for pleasure in several years.
Recently, I've gotten into audio books and that has been a life-saver! I can now get back into pleasure "reading" and my wife enjoys listening along with me. I've started listening to BookTube videos and gotten a number of great reviews for fantasy books. I've recently really liked Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom, Black Prism and Retribution Falls.
If you can only note one thing about me, remember that I pretty-much live for the next Harry Dresden book - whenever it will come.
Hi, everyone! I'm Bree. I do the booktube thing at BreeReadsBooks I've been around a while but if we don't know one another, say hi! I'm doing a video on my nomination choices soon!
Hello everyone! My name is Rachel (a.k.a. Kalanadi), and I'm a new judge this year. I'm very, very into science fiction and short fiction, and I talk about them over on my channel Kalanadi.I have zero clue how I'm going to narrow down my nomination choices this year (too many good things!) and I'm very excited to see what will be on the shortlist this year.
Hi! I'm KJ from the SFF blog Worlds In Ink (sadly I don't have a related booktube channel). I've participated in past years and am looking forward to taking part this year too.

Hello - Marc here, I don't have a youtube channel - this is my third Booktube SFF awards participation - I read all over the place and rarely pay attention to when a book is published so I have used this awards to check in with what is happening with recent SFF and maybe even a YA novel. I have read Raven Strategem - looks like this will be on the list somewhere because I will certainly be voting for it as well...
Hi, I'm Kelsey, and I've been on Booktube for two years now as The Fancy Hat Lady Reads! at: www.youtube.com/c/thefancyhatladyreadsI loved doing all of the BooktubeSFF Babbles last year and watching others' babbles videos, and look forward to them again this year!

Hi, I'm Maija, and my booktube channel is Maija Reads. I've followed these Awards since the beginning and I'm always excited for the BooktubeSFF Babbles!I read mostly adult fantasy and graphic novels, but also some science fiction. Most of the 2017 releases that are super interesting to me are still sitting on my TBR shelf, so I'm very excited to see what pops up on the shortlists! I'm sure I can find a few things to nominate myself, as well (fake whisper: "The Stone Sky").
Hello! I'm Rachel, from no where (yet), just a quiet observer. I watched the live show last year but hadn't read many of the books, so I'm hoping to read along this year to help me better comment and enjoy. I really enjoyed All Systems Red last year and hope it makes it through noms because I'd love to read it again!
Hello, I'm Colleen from a small town in New Jersey. I hope to actually read along this year, since last year I got a little too busy to participate. I am a bit of a slow reader, but I am hoping to keep up as much as I can. :)
Hello everyone! I'm Nadine and you can find my small sff blog here. I discovered the awards last year and I'm so excited to join the read-a-longs this year, especially since I haven't read a lot of new releases in 2017. I hope The Bear and the Nightingale appears on the shortlist!
Hi! I'm Bex, and I have a booktube channel (collab with my husband Jon) at KnightHunter BooksIt turns out I'm not so good at reading books in the year they are released so I don't know yet what I'm pulling for - but Jon will definitely have some nominations to make! I'm really excited to see what turns up in the shortlist!
Hi! I'm Linnea, my Youtube-channel is RobotMariaReviews. I do more than book reviews, but my channel is centered around science fiction, fantasy and nerdy stuff of that nature. As for the awards, I have read way too few releases from 2017, so I'm not going to nominate, but I look forward to following the awards, the discussions and all the booktube babbles videos.

Hi!
I'm Njeri from ONYX Pages! I live in Toronto, Canada and I read Afrofuturism books. My reads span genres (Afrofuturism is not a genre) and include science and speculative fiction, fantasy and magical realism.
This is my first time participating in these awards and I'm super excited!
I was travelling, so unfortunately, I was unable to nominate the titles I wanted to. I hope someone else did.
Can't wait to meet all of you and join in the fun times!

Hi! I'm Rebecca. Not a Booktuber, but I certainly enjoy everyone else's videos. It's great to hear about all the new books. If it weren't for you I'd only be reading books from centuries past (though mostly the 20th), which I do still read and enjoy, but it's nice to know what's happening in the bookish world now!
Hi I'm Marguerite (Maggie) my channel is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR2M...Sci-Fi is one of my favorite genres. Hi, everyone, I'm Erika. My channel is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCI0Y... I'm new to Science Fiction and Fantasy in general, so I joined this group to get more exposure to both genres. I'm excited to check out some of the titles on the shortlist. It should be fun.
Hello!I am 32, from Austria and totally into science fiction, fantasy, humor and science topics and always trying to widen my range.
Hey guys. My name is Heather. I’m 40 years young. My genres have changed over the years. Right now, SFF is my go to. I have to say Goodreads and Booktube has significantly depleted my wallet, but I absolutely love looking at the library I’ve built over the years. Would love to hear anyone’s book recommendations.
