My name is Cheyenne. I am so excited for the awards this year. I am hoping The Bear and the Nightingale wins for best novel based on what I have read so far but there are so many things I didnt get to yet that I have heard amazing things about. It is always so hard to choose just one favorite.

Hello.
Reija here (on booktube you can find me here). I'm pulling for Amberlough!
Have to say these awards are the best time of the year for me. It's all so exciting. :)

Hi all, I'm Kaitlin aka Kitty G on YouTube and I'm one of the judges. I have a lot of things I'm excited about potentially making the shortlists this year, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the nominations fall.
We've got some exciting changes which will be announced really soon and we can't wait to share it all with you! x

Short fiction:
All Systems Red
Extracurricular Activities
Down Among the Sticks and Bones
Mira's Last Dance
Novels:
Raven Stratagem
The Stone Sky
If there's any tedious GR linking stuff, etc. that nobody likes to do, I'd be happy to help. I spend a lot of time here anyway.

I'm undecided on my nominations at this point, but I'm VERY excited to hear about these upcoming changes and look forward to participating in the babbles topics. =)

Several years ago, I had a brain surgery which left me with poor motor skills and poor eye sight. I can still read, but it's hard work, so I haven't read for pleasure in several years.
Recently, I've gotten into audio books and that has been a life-saver! I can now get back into pleasure "reading" and my wife enjoys listening along with me. I've started listening to BookTube videos and gotten a number of great reviews for fantasy books. I've recently really liked Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom, Black Prism and Retribution Falls.
If you can only note one thing about me, remember that I pretty-much live for the next Harry Dresden book - whenever it will come.
Hi, everyone! I'm Bree. I do the booktube thing at BreeReadsBooks I've been around a while but if we don't know one another, say hi! I'm doing a video on my nomination choices soon!

I have zero clue how I'm going to narrow down my nomination choices this year (too many good things!) and I'm very excited to see what will be on the shortlist this year.

I loved doing all of the BooktubeSFF Babbles last year and watching others' babbles videos, and look forward to them again this year!

I really enjoyed participating in the BooktubeSFF last year, and I'm happy to see the changes to the categories, and hope to find some great books to read. :D

I read mostly adult fantasy and graphic novels, but also some science fiction. Most of the 2017 releases that are super interesting to me are still sitting on my TBR shelf, so I'm very excited to see what pops up on the shortlists! I'm sure I can find a few things to nominate myself, as well (fake whisper: "The Stone Sky").

I discovered the awards last year and I'm so excited to join the read-a-longs this year, especially since I haven't read a lot of new releases in 2017. I hope The Bear and the Nightingale appears on the shortlist!

It turns out I'm not so good at reading books in the year they are released so I don't know yet what I'm pulling for - but Jon will definitely have some nominations to make! I'm really excited to see what turns up in the shortlist!

I’m excited about the awards. Most importantly, I’m looking forward to discussions and discovering new books 🤗

ONYX Pages | AFROFUTURISM | NEWBIE
Hi!
I'm Njeri from ONYX Pages! I live in Toronto, Canada and I read Afrofuturism books. My reads span genres (Afrofuturism is not a genre) and include science and speculative fiction, fantasy and magical realism.
This is my first time participating in these awards and I'm super excited!
I was travelling, so unfortunately, I was unable to nominate the titles I wanted to. I hope someone else did.
Can't wait to meet all of you and join in the fun times!

I'm looking forward to making friends in the Booktube community :)

Sci-Fi is one of my favorite genres. I just found out about these nominees and awards via a shortlist video by Elena Reads Books. I've read a couple from the shortlist and plan to read at least Raven Stratagem, Borne, The Collapsing Empire and The Bear and the Nightingale. Looking forward to discussions with the group.

I am 32, from Austria and totally into science fiction, fantasy, humor and science topics and always trying to widen my range.
