we are all made of star stuff. but some people are more star than human.
the year 2001, the turn of the millenium. the year the world was supposed to end. instead, on january 1st at 12:00 am, the world was blanketed in darkness. the stars were blocked from view for a whole minute. when they reappeared, some were missing.

three significant stars and constellations vanished permanently after that minute: the southern cross, the north star, and ursa major.

and in that moment before the stars reappeared, thirteen children were born, across the globe.

these thirteen were the stars that had vanished, born in human bodies so that when they were older they could protect the world from the evil that threatened it. but their powers were dormant, and supposed to remain that way until their twenty-first birthday, when they would come into their own.

the year is 2022. people all around the world have begun witnessing strange events — people flying, fires mysteriously starting and being extinguished, buildings being held from falling. as their powers begin to manifest, the thirteen stars are clueless as to who they are.

the evil is still there, lurking, waiting for the right moment to strike. and what's more, they have infiltrated the american government and are chasing after the stars.
