Subplot: Iris were debuted with the concept of "bringing seven colours to the K-Pop scene!" Their debut concept, still present in their aesthetic today, is just that — seven girls corresponding to the seven colours of the rainbow. Hitting big with their song 'Holiday' in late 2016, Iris are popular for their relatable personalities and strong vocals.
But perhaps there's a dark side to how they hit big? Many people commented on how 'Holiday' never entered the Canteloupe Top 60, but still managed to sell thousands of albums and win three music show wins. But the company said it was fair play, and the girls managed to break their music show records with their next songs, so it was totally okay, right?
