[ THE EVIL ]

the evil is an organisation of humans and ‘demons’* led by their leader (who is, to the best of anyone's knowledge, a faceless entity). the evil's aim is to overtake the earth, destroy the stars and reign over everyone forever.

their leader is, in fact, a faceless, disembodied entity that possesses various members of the organisation and uses them to speak through. the people who have that happen to them generally end up half insane, or psychopaths. being possessed by the leader for too long causes other side effects as well, which cause the possessed person's mind to deteriorate, leaving the body as an empty shell that the leader can inhabit. unfortunately, they didn't really understand how to care for a body the last few times, and so they went through people fairly quickly.

*demons are basically the opposite of stars, except unlike stars pretty much all of them take human form.
