My week is been going alright. I'm on lunch at work. So far I've been either listening to music or journaling. I've been window shopping via internet for clothes and putting it on my Shoptagr hoping the ridiculously priced items go on sale.

Shoptagr is a free site where you can save links to the items (clothes, jewlery and shoes) and it will alert you once the product becomes back in stock or the price lowers.

Slow at work and I wish I could be home reading :(

How is every else’s night going?

Well its' the next day and I'm at work on lunch just wishing I brought my book with me so that I could finish it. I really miss a lazy day curled up with tea and books

Just got home ready to snuggle up with Hemingway... What would I be like to hang out with him, he was prob really hot!

I can't get the books I post to show up as a link, how do you do it?

If you are on the app I don't think you can, but on the website above the box where you type your message there is a "add book/author" link. It is to the left of where it says "(some html is ok)". when you click that a little box will pop up and you search for the book there. Then just hit the add button on the correct one and it will post the link stuff in the text box.

Anyone else doing the reddit gifts book exchange this round? I just signed up. It was my very first exchange and I loved it, so I'm excited to do it again this year :)

Go to redditgifts.com and sign up for an account. After you link your reddit account to it you can sign up for the books exchange this round. If you haven’t done any exchanges on the site before you can only pick one the first time. They basically use an honor system called credits. You start with one and every exchange you complete you get that credit back plus one. So the more you follow through on the more you are allowed to sign up for every round. It’s free to sign up the only cost is the gift you buy your giftee and any cost to ship said gift. I believe sign ups are open until the 20th of this month.

I'm super excited to find out what the books of the month end up being!! Honestly from the nominations I think I'll be happy with pretty much any of them but I'm still excited to see what they are and have our first book of the month discussion started :D

My grandmother is sick, but we have not heard back from the doctor for what it is exactly. My family and I are going to visit her tomorrow and hopefully it isn't that life-threatening ;-;

Since I was asked by someone if you can continue to discuss in the book of the month threads after the month is over I thought I would go ahead and officially post that yes absolutely you can. If you join the group and want to go back to an old thread, if you finish the book a little late, or even if you just think of something at a later time you want to post about. It is completely fine to make posts in old book of the month threads and I have no plans to close them to new posts at any time.

How is everyone’s week going so far?

My week is great so far! The weather was being a bit weird the last few days, but today was nice and sunny - a great day to go relax outdoors! I got to visit my extended family this past weekend and very much look forward to going out with a few of them this coming weekend! I ordered a few books online yesterday and one of the packages is scheduled to come tomorrow :)

I also slightly annoyed that I ordered them in the same order but they're in 2 different shipments :/ Oh well, that happens

I'm reading the red rising series now, I have to say that it took me a while to get interested on it.
Maybe I've read too many on this YA-dystopian genre already...Battle Royale, Divergent series, The Giver quartet, The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner series
Most of them just follow the same pattern, they separate people by skills, or attributes, or capabilities or just through a social structure and then 1 becomes a hero and starts a revolution that'll change the rules and make us reverse to what society is/was (although clearly all of these books state how flawed it was)
From all the mentioned above I have to say The Giver and The Maze runner are among the most recommendable.

I'm also reading The girl with all the gifts and even though I've read also this type of books zombie/dystopian/apocalypse I'm quite enjoying it.

I've been meaning to read that one. I'll be interested to hear what your final thoughts on it are.

Okay, so, I have a school project for math and I have to survey at least 30 people. I don't exactly know 30 people who I can survey at the moment, so I am reaching out!! I'm not going to share personal info or anyone's name, etc. All I need is your name {or whatever you want to be called/me use} and your FAVORITE animal!! My math teacher is the only one who will be seeing this, so don't worry :)
