I'm about a 185 pages in. I just don't know how Taherah Mafi manages to write such poetic sentences throughout this novel. It's just beautiful. And the friendships and relationships that are starting between our 4 main characters are just adorable.

So I’ve finally started reading the second one and it’s pretty haunting so far, pun totally intended. I’m super behind on reading though!!! I’m trying to catch up!!!
