We seem to be in the midst of another watershed moment in the United States, with the emergence of viral campaigns like #MeToo and #TimesUp. How do you think these movements build off of the work described in Men Explain Things to Me? What else needs to be addressed in order to comprehensively prevent and end gender-based violence? What’s next?

I don't know what's next. What I do know is all these movements need to come together and form one big one. I would also like to note that it is highly disturbing how many people, especially other women, who want to dismiss abused or mistreated women. I find it utterly ridiculous that women are not reliable enough witness to their own lives. People use the excuse that some lie so therefor how do we know? I don't have an answer for that but it is unfair to wipe out the majority for the sins of a few. I am not sure how much this relates to the book. I read this back in November/December.
