Kiwi sat on her bunk and pulled out her headphones, waiting for her friend to show up.

Walking into the cabin, stepping carefully-as though she feared herself breaking the floor boards or some foolish nonsense-Cassandra looked around before her eyes finally landed on Kiwi's sitting form.
"Hi Kiwi," she called in the reserved manner that was so well associated with her.

((Wow you’re a good writer))Kiwi yelped and turned around suddenly, scared out of her wits. “Oh, it’s just you,” she replied thankfully. “Hi,”
((thx! I've been rping for only about 2 or 3 years, so that's a really great compliment. I love Kiwi though, her appearance and character is cute))
"Just me," she hummed, though it was meant as a joke. Unable to meet her eyes, not because of anything emotional or because she didn't want to, it was because she couldn't. Kiwi was still in the age range where, if Cass looked her in the eye, she'd see her future flash before her. And Cassandra hated that. Not only did it give her a massive migraine, but it really just bothered her-how short lives could be.. Seeing demigod lives were the worse, and knowing you couldn't change anyone's destiny pained her more than a bullet could.

((thx :) what age range is Ki in again?))Cassandra wouldn't look at her, though Ki couldn't know why. "So, what do you want to do?" She asked.
((16))
"Whatever, I'm just glad not to be near anymore smelly boys or girls who think they're 'all that'" Which is what most of the 2nd Cohort was made up of... Here in the 3rd and under Cohorts, it seemed more... Friendly, sociable groups.

Kiwi laughed. “Is there anyone you like?” She asked, wanting to know if there was anyone else worth getting to know.
"You, a few others I haven't met yet...." Cass shrugged, her own lack of energy made up for by Kiwi's over flowing energy.
((lazy post))

((No haha that’s me all the time))“Okay,” Ki said, defeated. She was having trouble coming up with a common interest or something to do. “Wanna walk in the woods or something?”
"What music do you listen to?"
“Anything, I guess. Just not rap. I would do anything to get away from rap.” She shivered. “How about you?”
"Classical... Some other.. Stuff" Shrugging, she leaned down to sit beside Kiwi. Her fingers twitching with nervous energy.
“Okay. Well, I’m bored. Not bored of you, just bored of. . . Life.” Kiwi flopped down on the bed. “And I’m a girly girl, so I am going to talk about crushes and boyfriends and besties and frenemies and all that good stuff. Just so you know. So, on that topic. . . ?” Kiwi’s eyes sparkled a little. She was back in her element.
Turning to face Kiwi, she frowned. "Go on...?" She muttered, brushing caramel streaked brown hair out of her face. Tugging at the caramel marks and twisting the brown, she waited for whatever she had to throw at her.
Kiwi laughed. “You look so nervous! I was waiting for you to, you know, spill, but if you want, I can just talk about my life. I excel at talking about useless things.”
"I had-have-a perfectly ordinary life..." Which was a lie of course, what person with a normal life would have to watch her own brother be torn apart by griffins?
"Hah, right.." Leaning down, Cassandra rested her head on her hands.
((Sorry ive been gone for so long))Kiwi sighed. “Alright then. If I spill, will you tell me about your horrible secrets?”
"I have none, but feel free," Cass murmured calmly, her relaxed attitude a contrast from Kiwi's energetic one.
Kiwi shrugged. “Okay. I’ll tell you mine though, because I’m bored and I like to talk. So years and years ago, I stole a stuffed animal from this toy store on my street.” Her cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
Amusing... Shrugging, Cassandra studied her hands before finally coming up with a response. "I asked my dad for money for a school shirt and he gave me all the cash in his wallet, he never asked for it back-so I spent it on a month's worth of gum."
Kiwi retreated into her head, thinking about the last time she had had gum. Thinking how her dad would have never let her do that —he would have figured out somehow. She was silent for a while, until the quiet became uncomfortable. She coughed loudly. “So, anyone you like?”
Smirking, Cassandra shook her head, "No one worth liking, to be honest," and... I'm shy around guys... Of course, she'd chop all her beloved hair off before saying that.
((This storyline is boring wanna do something else like no offense. . . ))Kiwi flopped back against the bed, staring up at the ceiling. “Where do you live?”
((sure))
"Here, what about you?" (Lazy/short post))
"Here, what about you?" (Lazy/short post))
"That sounds fun...." Studying her hands, Cassandra blurted out, "I used to love watching the Lion King."
Kiwi was surprised at this sudden outburst. She had thought Cassandra wouldn’t have willingly told her anything. “How come?”
"I don't know, Timon and Pumba always made me laugh and I adored Rafiki-he was so crazy but knew a lot more than everyone else," shrugging, she glanced over at Kiwi-offering an embarrassed smile.
Kiwi chuckled inwardly. “I didn’t know you were a Disney person.” Ki, personally, was, but only because of her brother...and she wasn’t ready to talk about that now.((Sry if it’s been a while my dog just died))
((aw, dogs are men's best friends))
Shrugging, Cassandra drew her legs to herself. As a child she turned to Disney for amusement and entertainment, the bullies at her school and the mean girls always were there-but in Disney.... They were defeated in disney, all the nasty witches and evil wizards, and every curse was broken!

SHaking her head, she grinned, "You have a favorite movie?"
"Chewbaca... I used to want to be Leia Organa..." Smirking, Cass sat up straight again, "I mean, my father never said anything against it-but my brother teased me mercilessly."
Kiwi shrugged. “We all have our moments,” she said. It was true; as a child she had always wanted to be Ariel. “Wanna play truth or dare?”
"Uh, sure..." Immediately the defensive look was on her face, but Cassandra kept her attitude positive and crossed her legs neatly. Hands folding in a tiny steeple, "You or me first?"
“Me,” Kiwi said. She was excited. She could remember all the times she has played this game with her brother. . . She pushed the thoughts away. “Truth or dare?”
"I'm going to say Dare, this time," Cass murmured in response, beginning to knaw at the ends of her hair-a bad habit of hers she'd yet to break.
Kiwi thought for a moment. She wasn’t the best at dares. “I dare you to . . . Tell an Aphrodite she put her mascara on wrong.”
"A what?" Taking a moment to decipher the name, Cass narrowed her eyes before nodding slowly, "Oh! You mean a Venus daughter? Well... I suppose," shrugging, she hopped down and ran off.
Upon returning, covered in powder on her clothes, black marks (mascara and eyeliner presumably), along with marks of red lip stick-the awful kind-all over her face and arms. "Well, Venus children certainly are... Vicious...."

((Sorry forgot it was Roman. . . ))Kiwi fell over with peals of laughter. “Your face. . . “ she trailed off, trying to pull herself together. “We should clean that off.” She tried to keep a straight face.
Shrugging, Cass ducked out for many minutes before running in-slamming and locking the door as you could hear a crowd of high pitched voiced girls yelling and banging. "There," she said, rubbing her face clean of the make up with a wet towel, though she couldn't fix her clothes until... Tomorrow-most likely.
"Umm... Truth or dare?" Shrugging, Cass wiped at some spots of make up on her arms as she waited for Kiwi's answer.
"Okay-umm..." Humming to herself, Cass went with the most cliche questioned, "Who do you like-like at this camp." Scowling, she rubbed a hand over her eyes, "Oh, my gods... Sorry-that was the dumbest thing ever," catching Kiwi's eyes, she leaned away-moving her eyes from Kiwi's. But the images she had seen replayed in her mind, a boy-of course-and she thought she saw a child in Kiwi's future... But there were millions of other shadowy futures too hard to see, or maybe Cassandra just didn't want to see them....
As the gold from her eyes faded, she finally looked back-knowing her actions were strange but hoping they could go on without having to talk about it.
