Perhaps this book hasn't been published yet? I an having difficulties finding it online or on the author's website.

Scholastic and Amazon both have only two books in the Groovy Joe series, and that's not one of them. Maybe you have an advanced reader copy?

FWIW, my niece's preschool class had a stack of perhaps a dozen copies of "Groovy Joe: We're Going to Build a Rainbow", with a "free, take one" post-it on top. It feels a bit more like a pamphlet than a book when you pick it up (couple dozen pages, glossy folded cover, and a couple staples), and I assumed it was a sample designed to induce folks to buy books in the series, though perhaps it's an advance copy, or they're testing the waters for a new title.

In any case, my niece liked it, and there's a "download the song" link on the back cover that goes to the groovyjoestories.scholastic.com page mentioned above - at the bottom of the "songs" page, there's a link for the "Build a Rainbow" song, though there's no artwork for, or mention of, the associated book (wound up on this goodreads page looking for an image of the cover, to attach to the mp3). So, in turn, I'm attempting to shed a bit more light for you on the situation.
