The month has finally come to an end. I want to thank everyone who has posted on the topics and to all those that have joined the group. I'm shocked how many members we have so far. I'm still getting the hang of being a host. Remember you guys can make up your own topics to discuss. I like to create questions or discuss as I go along with the book. If that works with you guys I'll continue doing that.

Questions for you guys.

1. What would you have done in Paul Sheldon's place?
2. Out of all King's villains (however many books you've read) did you find Annie the worst? She is definitely up there for me.
3. Have you seen the movie yet?

Kimberley | 1 comments I think the movie is good, though the book is, of course, better. Annie is one of King's scariest villains because she was so unpredictable. Her mood swings were terrifying!

Kimberly | 35 comments 1. I'm not sure what i would have done differently. He definatly needed to heal first before he could really try and escape.
2. She is by far one of the worsts... I mean what the heck lol...
3. I am watching the movie right now!!! :)

This is going to sound awful, especially coming from the host of this group, but I knew it would be this way until I finished The Dark Tower series, which I'm very close to doing.

I have finished Misery today and I think it is now my scariest book to date, written by King. I mean My list was The Shining and then IT. Not anymore. Misery is now on top. Boy is Annie Wilkes a hell of a character. She is beyond insane. In my review, I wrote that Jack Torrence is made to be crazy because he is susceptible to rage and I think he has a touch of the Shining. The Overlook hotel exploits those characteristics. Annie on the other hand is 100% certifiable. She started her killing spree at the age of 11. I mean, how more evil can you get. Now I need to watch the movie.
