Join me and Brooke, while we read the "Parasol Protectorate" series by Gail Carriger starting with Book 1 "Soulless" :)

I can't wait to read these I have read her other series and loved it so I have high hopes for these books :)

How many chapters do you want to read per day? :) Maybe 3-4?

would 5 be ok? if I like the book I something read really fast

Sounds alright, but I'm not sure how long the chapters are lol But we can try and if we need to we can still readjust later :)

I'm not sure, if reading 5 Chapters/day is a good idea :( I checked now and the chapters are really long. There are only 15 chapters in the book, so just with the first 5 chapters we'd have to read ~150 pages.
If the book is good, it's possible, but I'm not sure, if I want to read 150 pages per day (EVERYDAY) for like 15 days (since we have 5 books and I just assumed they are all 15 chapters each lol).
That's quite a lot and I'm reading a lot of other stuff, too (so I'd probably end up reading the whole day O.O)

Ok we don't have to read 5 chapters I'm fine with whatever

Oh damn, I missed the start.. did you start yet? O.O (Yesterday was my cousin's birthday, so I was kind of busy >.< )

I love how it feels like those gadgets secret agents/spies get in movies. (like Charlie's Angels)
And I think Madame Lefoux is spying on Angelique, not on Alexia. At least it really wouldn't make sense otherwise >.<

Now they are finally at Kingair and no one can transform O.O The mystery is getting even more confusing! xD I wonder what's causing it >.< (hide spoiler)]

I loved that I was laughing so hard my sister gave me a funny look

haha, yeah it's always a weird moment, when you start laughing and it used to be totally silent in the room XD (or at least as close to totally silent as possible)

I read up to Chapter 12 today (I'll finish tomorrow), but didn't find anything worth mentioning yet.

Ok I'm at chapter 5 but I should be able read some more soon most likely up to chapter 8

I'm so excited to see what role Madame Lefoux and Sidheag will play, they are both characters that I love from the other series by this author!

I only read Etiquette & Espionage and that was a while ago (Around Christmas lol)

I was wondering if you had to choose would you want to be a drone or a claviger?

I suppose Claviger, I kind of hate how vampire hives treat their drones =.=
But maybe a drone for Lord Akeldama? lol (He only takes guys though T_T )

I would want to be a Claviger as well, I just am not a big fan of vampires.

I just started Heartless and (view spoiler)[ I'm not sure how I feel about them giving the baby to Lord Akeldama to keep her and the baby safe. It seems like a payback for turning Biffy, but I might be looking into this to much and it was Lyalls idea so idk (hide spoiler)]
