I can start tomorrow evening. Have a school project for my little one to finish this weekend so not much time to read. The 3d pyramids we're building are taking up all my time. :D
Finished it and rated it a 4. And the end... oh my! And why?!I'll wait for you girls to finish it too so we can talk about it.
@Manju - felt the same and wait for it... more is to come. :)
Starting today as I just finished Legend just now.A love triangle? After the all love-dovey business in the first one? Really? Is it always necessary in YA?

Thanks!
Manju wrote: "i didn't find romance part ott in first one but here it kind of overshadow everything for now. ."Well, the focus is now completely split between the mission and the love story, Too much teen angst and too little action.
true, after a time these books get similar. had i read this two years back I might have liked it but not now. I just can't stomach the fact that two 15-16 year old had the power to change the future of a whole nation. Specially when they act like adults...
Manju wrote: "finished. mediocre read for me. usual YA drama with a lot of twists to keep reader on the edge..."Same for me as well. It was very similar to the other dystopian books in term of the storyline... And the age factor is too unrealistic.
I still rated it a 4 because of the twist in the end. It left me wanting to read the next book. Take Seer of Sevenwaters for instance - I think the series could have been just fine without that book and have rated that a 3. Prodigy had a bit of action at least.

After reading the 2 books, we definitely won't be able to abandon the series. Haven't read the seven waters series... Adding to my TBR..
